Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wheeler Lake

Stayed here with our family and friends. and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The views were breathtaking and the house was immaculate. We had a great time!

Great place to sneak away for the week. The house was impeccable and very up to date. We brought our two dogs but this place is also great for children. The kayaks and Lilly pad were easily accessible and fun activities for the dock. If you do some diving under the bridge closer to the shore you might find my husband’s Raybans, enjoy!

I rented this Airbnb for my daughter and her family of six. They were in the Huntsville area for a wedding weekend. This home was perfect for 2 children and 3 adults and they felt extremely at home there. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and the home was well furnished to meet their every need. I highly recommend this place as the location is also great if you need to be in Athens, Madison or Huntsville.

We were a party of 4 adults in town for a wedding. It rained the majority of the time we were there, but we could just sit back, relax and enjoy the storms on the screened porch as they rolled through. Loved that! Beds were so comfortable and what a stocked kitchen! Wow!! I have used online rental homes for 20 years and this was the best stocked home I have ever been to! Chris is so accommodating, helpful and easy to contact. The home is decorated with such cute and unique things, we loved it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Thank you Regan for a fantastic stay! This place is a hidden gem. From check in to check out, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Regan already had a crib set up with fresh sheets which was extremely helpful. There are toys for the kids, a high chair, and a full swingset out back. Plus feeding the chicken was so much fun and we enjoyed the fresh eggs. We forgot an item there and she was nice enough to ensure we got it back. We had everything we needed to cook nice meals and felt right at home. Regan was a fantastic host, very communicative and offered to help on several occasions with various items. She also checked in on us and made sure we were happy with our stay. I would highly recommend this place and plan to stay again as we have family nearby. Thank you Regan for helping us have a great trip!

This place was perfect for my husband and I to stay in while he fished a tournament out of Goose Pond Marina. We also enjoyed the short drive to City Harbor for restaurants and shopping. Check in was easy and check out was minimum simple instructions which was so nice.

The Airbnb was perfectly located for our trip to UAH. It has all the listed amenities and was in good condition. I would recommend this Airbnb to others.

Quiet, comfortable lodging, loved having a full kitchen. I only spent the early morning & evenings in the apartment & during that time, neighbors were quiet. It’s a short drive to the civic center area. Neighborhood felt safe. Communication is great. I would stay again.

This was my first trip to Huntsville. My five night stay was wonderful and just the type of getaway that I needed. On the mountain this location is about a mile from the entrance to Monte Sano state park. The paved streets of the neighborhood on the mountain are very easy to walk and ride your bikes. A short drive down the mountain via two different routes will take you within 30 min or less to sights such as the Space and Rocket Center, Big Spring Park and downtown areas. You will not want to miss visiting Burritt on the Mountain a museum just a 15 minute drive from your accommodation. While in town you can pick up groceries at an Aldi or dine at any number of restaurants like Taco Mamma. It was a great vacation for me!

This place is perfect for someone who wants to be off the beaten path, out in the country, and in an adorable little cabin. The place was not hard to find if reading the directions well. Would definitely stay again if going through the area. It was dog friendly and isolated, perfect for what we wanted out of our stay.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. As it says in the description, it’s across the street from the lake and the dock is about a two minute walk away. The cabin is elevated so you have a beautiful view of the lake from the wrap-around porch. The porch itself was a favorite feature of mine, and I loved waking up early to drink coffee in one of the rocking chairs while looking out over the lake. The family loved the hot tub and it was plenty of room to fit all of us in it easily. I appreciated that it was warmed up and ready to go when we got there. We only stayed two nights, so the included amenities were plenty for us. We did a quick shopping trip nearby for food, and that was it. I can definitely recommend this cabin and we will definitely be back in the future.

I loved my stay at Lindsey's - I was there for a week on a writing retreat during one of the coldest times of winter but I was comfy and cozy in the cabin. The surrounding area is beautiful and it was really peaceful there. I particularly appreciated being able to bring my dog with me! We were delighted to meet the friendly neighbor dogs when they stopped by one day. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I'm sure I'll be back in a warmer season to enjoy more of the wrap-around porch!

We absolutely love going to Walker's cabin! My husband and I have visited Monteagle quite a few times over the last 15 years, and this cabin is, by far, our favorite. It outshines all the others in value, peacefulness and has a great owner! Walker is the best. He always responds to any questions very quickly and thoroughly. He definitely knows what renters are looking for when they stay at a rental. All the ammenities you would want are already at the cabin. All we take is clothing and food, and we are good to go. Walker has a wonderful and large assortment of books around the cabin. There's nothing better than sitting on the deck with a good book, just enjoying nature. The privacy of the cabin is especially appealing to us. You'd never know there are any other houses around. The cabin is also very comfortable and was exceptionally clean. All in all, we love staying there!

This cabin was great for our purposes and we had a wonderful time. The land is beautiful, the cabin is pristine, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to do a lot of cooking. These are just a few notes for future guests: 1. Kayaks: Just to make it clear for future guests, not all the canoes and kayaks advertised in the photos can be found on the property. We found three kayaks total, one of which was very dirty and unkempt. 2. The listing advertises that the cabin sleeps 8 total, including a couch and an air mattress. We were at full capacity and needed to use both the couch and the air mattress, but there was no bedding to be found for the air mattress. We made due with what we had, but I do believe bedding for the air mattress should be included if the air mattress is to be counted as an eighth “bed.” All in all, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this cabin. Just wanted to include these notes for future guests.

it's a gorgeous cabin with an awesome view! all of the furniture is comfy and the place was very clean! the fire pit and lights on the back porch really set a magical ambiance! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I stayed for a quick getaway trip and had a great time! The cabin is exactly as described and had beautiful views! The property was easy to find and was clean and had the needed amenities, it was close to downtown Guntersville, and Donny was proactive and gave great check in/out directions. Can't wait to stay again for a longer time!

My granddaughter and her fiance stayed and loved it! I was so pleased because I booked it for them to be in town for her baby shower.
