Lovely lodge for up to 4 people

This is our eighth time staying at the cabin and the family always have the most amazing time. There are lots of lovely walks and village pubs close by which are recommended. We are already looking forward to booking again to relax and unwind.

A Cosy Convenient Retreat

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We've just come back from a 3 night stay. The house is wonderful with everything you can think of available. The location is very quiet and with easy access to all other villages. We cycled every day to different locations. The hosts were always available if we had any issues - which we didn't. The grounds were well kept and we had the added bonus of having Phil the Pheasent patrolling in the back garden. The Garden is not overlooked. Lovely stay - would definately return if going back to Suffolk.

Cosy, spacious cottage.

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
An enchanting cottage, fully equipped with everything one could want. Also, loved the pictures on the walls - especially the washing woman in the bathroom - and the selection of books. Started reading Candide again! And had a game of Cranium - genius! Very close to the local pub, the Crown, which has good food. Large kitchen and nice garden with trampoline! Easy to park right outside - lots of space. Nice neighbours.

Buttercup Lodge

LaureRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We definitely recommend this lodge. It was a perfect place for our family to explore the area and be out and about everyday. It's also conveniently located within walking distance to the village pub and the kids playground. The lodge's kitchen is well equipped and everything is great quality. (Bedding, furnishing and furniture) As mentioned in comments on other platforms, there is a green exit sign in the bedrooms, stopping the room from being really dark, but you just need to bring an eye mask and that's no longer an issue. The place is really quiet and the surroundings are lovely. The garden was a great place for the kids to play, especially as it is securely enclosed. The host was really nice too, great communication. We loved it and will come back.

Springfield, Westleton

JillRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay in Westleton, despite the weather. We loved the enclosed garden for the dogs, and managed a game of table tennis on the lawn. The proximity to the village and the pub and shop was great. The beds were really comfy, except for the sofabed, which was a little hard. I would happily stay here again but would treat it as a 3 bedroom house.

We stayed for two night's at Donna's cottage in Westleton while visiting nearby nature reserves in Suffolk. It was a perfect base for this. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable lounge and bedrooms. Good shower. We had an excellent stay with absolutely no complaints. Thank you.

Nestled between Walberswick and Southwold

AlexandraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fabulous house - from the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever seen to the comfortable garden furniture, from the the spacious bedrooms with great views to the comfortable lounge. The garden is just lovely and the dog had a brilliant time in it. It would have been possible not to leave the house and have a great week - with a wide selection of good books, boules to play, and and binoculars to look out over the estuary all provided. Blythburgh Church beautiful and impressive. Lots to do nearby - walking to Walberswick, and with Southwold, Aldeburgh and Dunwich all an easy drive away. The White Hart pub - only a short walk away - was welcoming with a good menu. And the Fox down the road in Darsham and The Plough in Wangford also good. Lauren was great responding to queries - and all of us from the ages of 11 up to 78 had a great week. A superb place to stay and unwind.

Loved our stay, quality accommodation with quality fixtures and fittings. Quality Bacon, Eggs, milk, coffee even butter. Super clean and comfy pillows and bed. Shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. Enclosed garden with local wildlife making the odd appearance. Would stay again
