We had a fantastic stay at Henk and Ineke’s lovely place. It was spacious, beautifully furnished, and even better than the photos (thanks to some upgrades since our reservation)! It’s clear that Henk and Ineke truly care about creating a great experience for their guests. They were friendly, flexible, and always approachable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here and would love to visit again sometime. Oant sjen!

A beautiful temporary home away from home! We were lucky enough to spend Christmas in Dina's tiny house. It was even more beautiful than expected, completely quiet and private....but with all the amenities we wanted. The sauna was a dream, especially in the cold, wet weather. Dina is a very likeable host and we were very happy to have decided on Ellertshaar. For us, one of the most beautiful Christmas we had. Dear Diana, Thank you so much, we will be happy to come back!

We had a great time staying here! It was nice that we could also use the shed. The hot tub was super, there was nice coffee and we were happy with Nanda's tips about the area. The cottage has really all the comforts. Definitely recommended for those who want to enjoy the peace and quiet and the wide surroundings!

We have a lovely stay! The cottage is very cozy. Everything has been thought of! The jacuzzi was also really enjoyable. Lovely on the water. Unfortunately, it was not really back to sail but we could dock the boat at the house! If you have any questions, you'll be answered. Highly recommended to book. And wonderful to enjoy!

A perfect wonderful piece of nature! Great for relaxing and very private and quiet. The north of Holland is easy to explore from there! As a small present, Femke and Eric gave us something from their garden, which was a surprise in the bedroom - super great! Thank you again for everything:) and definitely see you someday!

We spent 2 days in this beautiful lodge and it was the best nature experience that we had. The lodge was amazing, the farmer very friendly and the view was fabulous. Hope to come back one day!

Great cottage in the woods. It was peaceful and clean.

friendly welcome, homely atmosphere, and very quiet neighborhood, keep it that way. The fact that no breakfast is included was no problem for us. The vacation home was an ideal base for us for the planned bike rides in the surrounding nature reserves, the beautiful warm weather played in our favor. Bikes could be stored in an enclosed shed. And it is within cycling distance from Meppel, good for groceries, day pool (Bad Hesselingen), a night out for dinner or ambiance on Thursday = Meppeldag.

The Hut is beautiful, thank you so much. We enjoyed the stay near the forest very much.

Cute little stay that has most amenities. We stayed only for one night and arrived in the evening. Host was friendly on arrival. Bed was fine, shower was hot. We didn't use the wifi. Parking nearly in front of the stay. Some cats walk around and are a bit cheeky, when you open the door they walk right in, but they are friendly. Only tip to them is to put some curtains at the entry of the stay. There are blinds now that don't cover the glass doors completely and people could look in, that affects privacy. We taped the blinds to the doors, that was effective. Could stay there again.

Great place to stay, we loved it. A caring host, responds instantly. The location of the house is great, not far from the car park.

We were so happy to find a place where our dog is welcome and where there is also a great vegan breakfast! Pascale is super nice and gave us a lot of tips for excursions, second hand shops and restaurants, so unfortunately time flew by! Pascale also lives on the property in the neighboring house, but you have enough privacy and she is also very considerate! The place is highly recommended! ♥️

We stayed here for a long weekend. The house was very nice and clean and equipped with everything you need. The bathroom was newly renovated. We had our dog with us, which also worked out without any problems. The location was also great and so we had a pleasant stay. Sietske and Eelco were very friendly and nice hosts, thank you for the warm welcome.

We had really fantastic days here. A beautiful cottage, a particularly beautiful area for cycling and also particularly friendly, attentive super hospitable owners. Fruit in a bowl, liquorice in a tray, fresh eggs in the fridge, a bottle of wine, just those things that make a stay so much fun!!

Very nice, spacious accommodation in a quiet place in Drenthe. Dwingeloo offers the necessary facilities and is close by. The trampoline, hammocks and ping pong table complete the picture

everything was correct! Upon entering, there was a nice music on it. It smelled nice of the rituals. The contact went smoothly via the app. Beautiful location and walking distance to beautiful hiking trails. we were very satisfied!

We look back on very pleasant days at Kristiaan and Ruth's to unwind. The stay in a beautiful authentic cottage with trusses in the shape of a haystack also made it special. The cottage is very naturally located in the countryside next to their farmhouse and the bakery. And we also had the pleasure of enjoying Kristiaan's delicious pastries.

Breathtaking surroundings, lots of outdoor possibilities at the property, both private and communal. Real SILENCE, beautiful birding singing, really rejuvenating. Equipped with all the comforts, nothing missed, everything tip top.

We had a very nice time in this accommodation. Not only the cosy furnishings and the lovingly landscaped garden, but also the small details – such as rolls, eggs from their own chickens and games provided for our daughter – ensured that we felt comfortable from the start. The area is ideal for cycling and hiking, and the garden with the terrace invites you to relax. Iris and her father are very nice and accommodating. We will be happy to come back!

It was a really nice place in a camping in the middle of the forest. It was quiet, with fresh air. It had everything that you needed. The communication was really easy. I recommend it for a quite stay

Nice little cottage, equipped with all comforts, in the middle of nature! Beautiful surroundings and close to Ruinen, where you can eat/drink. The Dwingelderveld is also beautiful for a walk or bird excursion!
