Dichtbij Giethoorn, de Weerribben en Hunebedden in het natuurgebied Holtingerveld. The Colony of Frederiksoord, listed on UNESCO world heritage, is only 6.5 km away.

Vanuit de tuin, waar regelmatig de eekhoorns zich tonen, ga je zo een wandeling het bos in maken, stap je op de fiets of MTB om de omgeving en MTB routes door het bos te verkennen, maak je plezier op het park zelf of kom je volledig tot rust met volop vogelgeluiden om je heen.
