Tiny house holiday rentals in Western Maryland

We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

From the moment we first arrived, my newlywed wife and I absolutely fell in love with this cabin. Sitting just a few hundred feet northeast of the pinnacle of Sharp Ridge and overlooking High Knob to the east, this little mountain retreat is a close friend to dazzling sunrises and a bejeweled night sky, winding Allegheny roads and the sarcastically-named Dry Run, a whole host of critterkind and the timbers wherein they make their homes, yet a stranger to civilization, the worldwide web, and—of course—blue waters. In our case, we wanted to disconnect from the technocracy in which we live and exclusively spend quality time with one another immersed in the beauty of nature, and we could not have dreamed of a better spot. Despite the isolation, the charming town of Franklin is only a fifteen-minute drive away and has plenty of groceries, gas, restaurants, and that all-important cell service. As I wrote in the guest book, West Virginia stole our hearts and this cabin was the mastermind.

We loved our short stay at Mason’s place!! We needed a peaceful getaway to just relax and it’s exactly what we needed. The hot tub was amazing, and we hiked all around the property and campgrounds! Had so much fun connecting with nature and relaxing. Also loved how many amenities, spices, oils, pots and pans, etc in the kitchen!!

Julia's place is an Idyllic setting - so tranquil, yet close enough to a great tavern for dinner. Amazing - we cannot wait to come back.

This is a beautiful, private place with amazing nature. We saw deer and hummingbirds, and they were pretty close to us. This place has a wonderful cat (Mr. Moo) who will give you much love! It is a bummer that we didn’t see dogs, but we got to see the chickens and got eggs from them! Amazing place! Although we may not hear beautiful sounds like others mentioned, we felt the peace and mindless presence. We enjoyed our time, and it was a perfect place for our short retreat.

Rich & Brittany we’re great hosts! Very responsive and helped with any issues instantly. The house was clean and as described. Very peaceful scenery, lots of deer roaming and pretty wildlife. Super pretty drive from NOVA as well!! Would definitely stay again. The hot tub topped off the trip and was perfect for two people!

We were in the area to visit Falling Water on our way back home and decided to spend a night and Grant’s place appealed to us since it was off beaten path and offer seclusions with nice pond view. We also wanted to try out a container home and small place living. Grant did a nice job providing a comfortable place to hang out and relax. Saw lots of wild life!!! Note: it’s located on gravel road, if your vehicle is low to ground it may be a little challenging getting there.

It was an amazing experience getting to stay in a tree. There was a lot to do got to meet Mike. He was amazing and it was great to meet in person.

Great place! Super clean and was such a nice retreat for a mini honeymoon.

The cottage was the perfect little getaway for our anniversary trip. It was clean and cozy and Jessica added a lot of really sweet touches that made us feel right at home. The location feels private without being too far from local amenities. It was quiet and relaxing. We stayed here primarily to visit Gettysburg, which is about half an hour from the house, but there are also several small towns a bit closer that had stores and farms and other cute places to check out. The listing was exactly as described and besides our own groceries, we really didn't need anything else that wasn't already there. Definitely would stay here again!

This cabin was the perfect find! My best friend and I took a trip here for our birthdays and we had a blast! The cabin was very cute, clean, and had everything we needed for our 3 day trip. It was private and surrounded by lots of trees and nature. The view from the kitchen/dining room and the hot tub is stunning! Pictures do no justice! Brian was a great host! I I have nothing but good things to say about Brian’s cabin. I definitely recommend booking!

Very beautiful area, incredibly stocked space. The nearby snowcone shop has lots of activities and trails nearby.

We had a great weekend get away at Hannah’s BnB! She was a responsive and flexible host, and gave us total privacy. The area is very walkable with trails right by the camper’s entrance, and our dog had a wonderful time as well. I’d highly recommend this place for any guests who are seeking some peace and quiet.

One of the best stays we had! Beautiful, peaceful, charming cabin with amazing views of the local farm Few minutes away from the town with cute restaurants and stores and lots of hiking paths nearby. It was a perfect gateway for two of us, definitely worth the 12hrs drive from Illinois!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay. The property was so serene; the sound of the stream right out the front door and just a quick walk away was wonderful. We played lots of fetch with the property dogs, Arlo and Josie, and were amused by the way they watched over us during our stay. We didn’t have the chance to meet Bill, but Sue was extremely hospitable and enjoyable to hold a conversation with. The huts were adorable and perfect for a weekend stay. The addition of firewood and everything we needed to start a fire was a nice touch as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Was exactly as described. It was set up beautifully, enjoyed the little touches such as the tea and the decorations. No issues at all went great. Was such a great relaxing experience being out in nature with family at the cabin.

A quirky and fun experience. James home gives you an updated kitchen and bathroom with a quaint old house feel. The beds are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the short walk to town. The driveway was steep and we appreciated the ability to park in the lower spot also available. The little details like a HDMI in a basket and all the cleaning supplies was great. Having three small bedrooms for our group at this price was perfect.

Our little getaway was great! Cute little guesthouse with cozy feel. Everything was easy to navigate and use.

Nice, cozy guest house in quiet location. Paula was so friendly and was kind enough to introduce us to her horses. Highly recommended.

The cottage on the farm was lovely. Very clean and tidy. The farm itself has such wonderful surroundings and very peaceful outside watching the farm animals around. It was easy to find, although I had a little trouble with the electric lock but that could be my user error and I didn’t bother Nick about that (I just needed a few attempt every time to figure it out, lol), however, the hosts were very responsive with any communication needed which was great. We would definitely love to stay again. It was a perfect quiet getaway yet close to Leesburg for food and drinks, trails, and tons of wineries near by. Thanks Nick!
