Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Western Maryland

We loved our short stay at Mason’s place!! We needed a peaceful getaway to just relax and it’s exactly what we needed. The hot tub was amazing, and we hiked all around the property and campgrounds! Had so much fun connecting with nature and relaxing. Also loved how many amenities, spices, oils, pots and pans, etc in the kitchen!!

We first stayed here in September 2024. In June 2025, it was the same immaculate, very well maintained home. It’s quite evident that Stephanie cares greatly about her home and the quality of her guests’ stay there. Stephanie has the gift of hospitality and is in the right business.

We had an enjoyable family trip. We especially enjoyed the game space. The house was very clean and well stocked with the little things easily missed when packing. They answered my questions quickly and were very accommodating. I would go again and recommend to me friends. It is important to note their suggestion to arrive in a truck or SUV as the gravel road up the mountain could be challenging in a smaller vehicle. But is definitely worth the drive. We had a great weekend stay! The view was well worth the trip and the house has everything we needed to cook. The house is set in a peaceful location and a short distance from trails. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was a wonderful location to stay at! The yard and fire pit were great (even though we got rained out in the evenings) and it’s a short drive to either Front Royal or Winchester to explore.

Harmony Lodge was the perfect getaway to relax with my husband and our dog. The lodging itself is clean, quiet, and well equipped for a vacation weekend . The kitchenette is cozy but has all of the basic utensils and several options to cook food. The bedrooms were spacious. Upstairs the loft is a great spot to unwind. The pool was just as idyllic as it looks in the pictures. But the best part is how ideal her property is set up for dogs. The smartly fenced off areas between the pool, her home, and our entrance was the best experience I have had renting a space while traveling with my pup. Elisa was very respectful of our privacy but also a super friendly host. We enjoyed chatting with her and meeting her pups. We found plenty to do within ~20 minutes of the property: hiking, birding, tasty places to eat and found some good beer. I can't recommend Harmony Lodge enough for anyone looking to unwind with their dog AND enjoy the luxury of a swim!

We had an amazing time at Taby’s place. She was a great host. The cottage is pretty. The swimming pool was nice respite in the scorching sun of June. Taby was extremely friendly and also helped us with the local recommendations.

Teddi and Adam were great hosts and have such a beautiful place that provided some much needed peace and quiet! We really enjoyed our stay!

If you read the reviews from others who stayed here...they were SPOT ON! Lynn's carriage house is like stepping into an immaculate barndominium. You feel like you are prepping for your fox hunt or what my wife and I did, enjoy a tea or glass of wine in the evenings watching the deer come through the fields or the horses in the far fields graze. PEACEFUL. The house has everything you need from coffee, tea, sweeteners, to spices and pots and pans. Come here to relax. Last, the pool on the listing is at the main house. Never did we feel like it wasn't our own private oasis. So cool to enjoy the pool surrounded by horse properties. Lynn is an excellent host. This is an incredible property.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house offered so many things for us to do as a family. We had such a good time playing darts, pingpong, board games, and hanging out around the fire pit. The Woods is our favorite place to go because of all the amenities. Highly recommend!

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Gorgeous view overlooking the river! The place was well decorated and we loved listening to the rain on the skylights in the living room. The neighbors were a little closer than expected, but wasn’t really an issue. Power went out one night (area outage), and Alison was responsive and proactive to provide a location of various lamps and lights. We were already using the grill on the incredibly back deck, so we weren’t really inconvenienced by it. I do appreciate the host keeping us updated on power outage.

Beautiful scenery, such a nice place to stay.

Tucked-away pristine log-cabin with tasteful vintage charm in a peaceful bucolic setting. Spot a horse or two nearby and listen to the birdsong on the front porch swing while taking in the restful views. Terrific fire pit for conversations and s'mores... along with an outdoor shower (there is a clawfoot tub for use inside). A wonderful property! Would definitely return - especially because we did not get to hike around the extensive property and see the waterfall! Definitely recommend.

Beautifully private, overlooking the river. Listening to the many different treefrogs at night and seeing the thousands of lightning bugs was the height of relaxing evenings. The house had everything you need, plus. Super comfortable beds. Rachelle was readily available and quickly answered our questions. Was an absolute pleasure to stay for the week and would definitely return for another relaxing stay!

We had a great weekend get away at Hannah’s BnB! She was a responsive and flexible host, and gave us total privacy. The area is very walkable with trails right by the camper’s entrance, and our dog had a wonderful time as well. I’d highly recommend this place for any guests who are seeking some peace and quiet.

If uou want to visit Cumberland in the summer, when it's getting hot, THIS is the place. Cody's AC is kickin! Its also a very cute spot, clean, walkable, and nuts to be right across the street from some pretty historic buildings.

The cabin was amazing! Great location, clean, and very cozy. Perfect for a quick getaway, and Robert was very helpful with detailed instructions and directions!
