You can drive to the center of Jyväskylä in about 25 minutes. Within a 15-minute drive, you will also find the outdoor areas of Hyyppään vuori and Mustavuori, as well as the amusement park of Nokkakivi.

A modest, over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.
