Holiday rentals with beach access in West Somerset District

A very nice flat with fantastic seaviews. Has everything that you need and the communication with the host was always exemplary.

Fantastic little spot, 5 mins walk to the harbour 10mins to the center of town. Views were stunning and the photo's and description didn't really do it justice, better than we expected. Perfect spot to explore the North Coast.

Great stay. First things first: the views are stunning. The flat is bigger than I expected and is perfect for a family of 4. The flat is well equipped and with all you need for your stay like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, soap, even some toiletries and kitchen supplies like cling film etc (big thank you for that!) which means you can arrive with just your suitcase. Only missing thing is a dishwasher but we weren’t cooking complex meals. Parking in the street is fine but you might have to tour neighbouring streets for a spot. Over all we had a great time and would highly recommend the place.

Great location, with amenities - and views across Charmouth to the sea - just as shown in photos. Just 10 minutes or so wander downhill to the sea and only half a mile from the village centre with a good (early until 9.00pm) convenience store, small bakery, pharmacy and pubs. Lots of coastal and inland walks within relatively short drives and easy access to Lyme Very responsive host.

We spent two wonderful nights at this stunning location, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! The views are amazing and as a bonus, we spotted a couple of seals swimming in the sea most days, which was the perfect way to wrap up our weekend. The apartment was not only clean and tidy but also stylish and easily accessible. We can't wait to return in the new year!

I was genuinely impressed by how comfortable and cozy the apartment was. Everything is done with care and attention to detail — it’s clear a lot of love went into creating this space. It was a real pleasure to stay here, and I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. The location is also great, especially if you’re travelling without a car. Chris & Sally are so friendly and helpful such a lovely couple and extremely welcoming …the accommodation was very luxurious and everything we needed for our stay the fridge was even stocked up with essentials so we didn’t have to go shopping when we arrived!! They went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable…absolutely amazing views…We shall have no hesitation in recommending this AirB&B to friends and family…one of the best ones we’ve stayed at!! We had a lovely stay at the loft. It was just as described. Beautiful and comfortable. A great little place for a few days away. The little local beach was fab and you’re only a short drive away from lots more things to see and do.

This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. Lots of pubs and tea shops and I highly recommend a visit to Laura Wall Art for lovely gifts. Be back soon thank you Amy

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay the might before my wedding. Both lodges were beautiful and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Location is beautiful and Ginetta is a WONDERFUL host. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a perfect stay. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be dissapointed xxxx

A beautiful home overlooking the sea in a fabulous part of the world. Definitely would come back

We loved our stay in this very cosy and peaceful house! The beach nearby is super close and the kids enjoyed looking out for fossils and playing in the tar and the waves. We appreciated all the recommendations given by Bronwen in the house files. The house is lovely, very well decorated and cosy. And to quote my son as he entered the bathroom "wow, this is very clean!". Thanks again 😊

Seahorse Cottage is a beautifully appointed holiday home with everything needed for a lovely relaxing break. It’s a short walk from the old town and beachfront where there are many restaurants and bars to choose from. Beware the seagulls dive bombing along the seafront if you’re eating anything though 🫢.

Suzanne's place was the perfect choice for our family, taking my elderly parents away is not always straightforward but here we had two downstairs bedrooms with walk in shower (and shower seat) in the bathroom next door to the bedrooms, everything on the level and good parking near the door. The upstairs bedrooms had en-suites and a lovely view over the rooftops to the sea. It's easy to get to Cardiff, Penarth and Barry and we had a lovely day at the Duffryn Gardens (National Trust). Everything was super clean and the decor was simple but classy. The beds were really comfy too. I'm sure we'll be coming back.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . The Old Sunday School is incredible. Property: 5* in every way, super clean, lush decor, smells like a spa! parking is right outside. the patio and view are stunning. bathrooms, shower all amazing. comfy bed, lots of storage space. Hosts: Jay and Lisa are lovely, they are next door but not imposing at all. super helpful and knowledgeable, we enjoyed chatting to them. Leonard is obviously the most important one and he is adorable! Area: the field below the patio was superb for our 2 black labradors, just a short walk away is a woodland walk, just magical in the early morning sunshine. short drive are some lovely country parks and places to eat. the super generous welcome gifts were very much enjoyed. we can't wait to book a return visit.

Great place to stay, 2nd time for us, great views and 5 mins walk to centre and beach, apartment is lovely, everything you need and very clean and comfortable, we have dogs so it’s great there is a porch to clean them off and also a bit of outside space for them in the morning, will definitely book here again.

Mark the host very helpful and Sue friendly and full of local info. Got to say after using AB&B for a few years this is one of the most attractive and comfortable we have stayed at. We spent a few days cycling and relaxing, local bus service conveniently available adjacent to the apartment. Local pubs a bit of a walk but food and drinks available at both. Look forward to staying again.

A very tasteful modern and pristine apartment with the most amazing views along the Jurassic Coast - what a place to relax. It is reasonably close to the beautiful town of Lyme Regis walking however the return journey is challenging and is not for everyone. It is so convenient though for the many walking routes in the area which we really enjoyed. Thanks Melanie and David for wonderful stay ( loved your new lawn mower David, we might have to get one too! )

Well equipped and comfortable ground floor flat in the centre of Lynton with the bonus of a parking space for a smaller vehicle. Good communication from host. Recommended.

Beautiful apartment with stunning views. brand new bathroom with walk in shower and lovely Neal's Yard products which smell amazing. Welcome pack of food goodies including milk, butter, croissants cheese, jam, marmalade and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Couldn't have asked more from our hosts Lynne and Neal. Lovely place in the centre or the small town, easy to get to anything you need. Cosy place that you feel at home right away!

We had an amazing long weekend break here. Pita communicated really well and her apartment was a home from home. Everything was here, from extra kitchen items ilke foil etc to shower gel and soap in the bathroom. The apartment was spotlessly clean and smelt fresh, it was the small things that made a big difference - like having fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee to make a cuppa as soon as we arrived and the welcome pack was wonderful, wine and nibbles went down a treat in the evening! The location is one of the best we have stayed in - ideal if you like swimming, surfing or paddleboarding. Having the lifeguards on the beach from 10am-6pm everyday gave reassurance too. Large sliding doors stayed open until well after 11pm so nice to listen to the waves! Thank you Pita for everything, it was lovely to meet you and we hope to be back next year.

What can I say? WOW! And Beautiful! One of the best bnb’s I’ve stayed in. Location was perfect. Long walks but be prepared for the hills, plenty of places to eat and drink. Relaxing surroundings and peaceful. The apartment was very luxurious, clean and comfortable. Shirley was very informative and helpful and left lovely drinks and snacks for us which was lovely. If I had to find any negatives with the property the only thing I can think of is there was no tv in the bedroom. Not everyone likes this anyway. We had our iPad so watched a film in bed from there so no real issue. Watch out for seagulls and pidgeons! They are in abundance. lol! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Shirley!
