François was an excellent host. He was very communicative, met us at checkin and checkout and was quite generous with arrival and departure times. The house is absolutely fantastic! It’s beautifully decorated, very comfortable and felt very roomy for the 2 of us. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the WiFi was great. The deck with plenty of seating and a jacuzzi was a real treat. We would love to return.

Lovely little house, everything we needed for 1 night, had been a hot day so when we arrived we sat outside and relaxed in the evening sun. We literally just slept and left next morning so didn’t get to use all the facilities offered. There was a washing machine and clothes dryer in garden, full sized cooker and hob. Stairs are very steep but there’s the option to sleep downstairs if you can’t manage the stairs. There’s shutters on windows too. Didn’t watch tv or explore surrounding area so can’t comment, there were suggestions for places to eat in the information sheet. There’s a dog too, very friendly, Sylvie did ask if ok with the dog which we were. We were welcomed by Sylvie and she explained how things worked etc, but if you don’t want to have any host involvement you can ask for key to be left in lockbox. Private parking with key fob to open gates when you go in and out. Lovely cosy accommodation, would recommend.

we had a very pleasant time, beautiful location, lots of fun with the animals at the pond. This experience is worth repeating with a lot of pleasure.

Above all, don't be intimidated by the two magnificent dogs that greet you by barking just enough, no doubt to let Josephine know that you have arrived! These big dogs are not mean at all and are behind a solid fence, this to reassure those who still doubt their kindness and good manners... Very smiling, Josephine gives you a simple and cordial welcome. the apartment is super clean and functional and I draw your attention to the attention to detail in terms of safety, as proof the non-slip coating of the shower tray, very effective! it's quite rare to be noted and better than that, underlined! we only spent one night at accommodation A, a short time, but enough to tell you; we loved it!!! PS don't miss a walk in Esquelbecq, this village is superb.
