Blankenburg (Harz) liegt zwischen Quedlinburg und Wernigerode und bietet somit unzählige Möglichkeiten um gemeinsame Ausflüge oder auch Wanderungen zu starten.

The location is perfect: it is close to nature and central - borders DIRECTLY on the nature reserve and apart from the ski and toboggan meadow, the Wurmberg cable car (250 m) and the town center are also accessible. Welcome to the vacation home of Anke and Andreas! We are delighted that you are interested in staying in our listed half-timbered house in Benneckenstein in the heart of the Harz Mountains. Built in 1857 and lovingly renovated in 2019, the house offers you the charm of earlier times, but is modernly furnished and equipped with a lot of comfort! “Harz sweet Harz” is not only the name of the vacation home – we want you to feel at home!

Quiet room with private bathroom and entrance

The room has its own separate entrance and is located in the basement. A small hallway (which is only used by the guest) leads to the room. The room is connected to the private bathroom with shower. Optionally (for a fee), the sauna can be used. WiFi is available. A fridge and a microwave as well as a kettle are available for use. Bicycles and motorcycles can be safely stored in the garage.

Hygge time in WR: Bungalow with fantastic views

Your hygge time now begins: The bungalow is located on a 2,300 square meter plot in a southern hillside with fantastic views of the Harz mountains, the city of Wernigerode and the castle. From your own parking lot, a 50-meter gravel path (ascending) leads past our log cabin cottage to a steep staircase with 45 steps. The climb is worth it: from the terrace you have a fantastic view.

This beautiful vacation home is located in the historic city center of Quedlinburg (200 m from the market). The sights are wonderfully accessible on foot and also the shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. On the day of arrival a visitor's tax of 3,00 € per person and night (children from 6 years 1,00 €) is to be paid in cash.
