Mettlenhof, also known as Mettlen Farm, is a restored farmhouse in Mettlen, Schopfheim, Baden-Württemberg. Built with traditional craftsmanship and natural materials, it provides a bright, welcoming space for up to 10 guests. Starte deine Wanderungen direkt vor der Tür am Westweg, oder Mountainbiketour durch den Schwarzwald. Fahre mit der S-Bahn (8 min mit dem Auto .) in 30min. Nach Basel, Frankreich ist 45 Minuten entfernt, Freiburg eine Stunde. Feldberg 45 Minuten. Schwimmbad Schweigmatt ist ein Vereinsbad. Man kann für 20 Euro für 4 mal erwerben.

Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.
