The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesental valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to five guests a cozy stay. The border triangle enables a variety of cultural and sports leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Tetto Piccolo, the small roof (own apartment)

I call this little home "Tetto Piccolo." It is a 40 m² apartment. Behind the house is a small playground. Next door is the physiotherapy school and the Rhine Jura Clinic. The thermal bath is also within 3 minutes' walk. The Swiss border is also very close. The quiet location close to the mountain lake and a beautiful view of Switzerland invite you to relax. Wi-Fi is available. There is also a tourist tax of €2.5/day/person to be paid.

Our quietly located and lovingly modernized farmhouse is embedded in a 4000 sqm large varied terrain, on which our horses also occasionally romp. The two apartments - ideal for two people each - are cleverly designed by hand. With lots of natural wood, to feel completely comfortable, they are bright and friendly. A wide window front, spoiled by the sun, reveals the VIEW through BIRCH TREES into our natural garden.

The property is slightly elevated above the village of Zell im Wiesental, shopping and train station are within minutes walking distance. It is a scenic area with many excursion possibilities on foot, by bike, by car or public transport.
