Monthly Rentals in Watsons Corners

We had a beautiful stay at the Highland House. Jess and Josh were extremely friendly and welcoming and we knew how to get a hold of them if we needed help. We also had some delicious farm fresh eggs waiting for us when we arrived. :) Brewski was also a very good doggo host, and treated us like family. :) We also had a good time with all the other farm animals. Chef enjoyed his banana that we shared with him. Beautiful views and a peaceful, relaxed setting really made our stay magical. We would definitely stay again!

My family had the pleasure of staying here for the first week in June 2025. We had a fabulous week enjoying this fabulous cottage and its surroundings. The inside offered us all the comfort and things we needed, including an awesome hot tub "tub" complete with rolled towels, clothes pegs and plastic glasses! Everything was exceptionally clean and there were lots of great books and games to keep us entertained as we lazed around the beautiful property. The kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun as we explored both directions on the river. Honestly the property was SO nice we hardly wanted to leave it but we did manage to get out a few days to visit Ottawa and the cute towns of Perth & Almonte. Two fabulous restaurants we visited and recommend is Joe's Italian Kitchen (In Almonte) and Michael's Table in Perth. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog Russ who had the BEST time all week enjoying the water, boats and watching the wild life from his little fur rug in sunny bay window.

This is a lovely and tranquil spot, a favourite that we’ve returned to three times now. There are plenty of places to hike through nature nearby and there’s even great takeout food just a few minutes drive away. Our nights were filled with stars and the sounds of coyotes and owls. Our days were graced with soaring eagles, chipmunks and deer. Cherry Ann is a great host who makes sure the cabin is pristine for all the guests, and is responsive to our needs. We are already planning our return next year.

The host greeted us upon arrival and had the wood stove already fired up so that the cabin was very cozy for us. Beautiful scenery, easy water access and walking trails close by. A lovely rustic cabin getaway to recharge from the chaos of society with just the right amount of convenient amenities. Will stay again!!
