We loved our stay at Gabriel’s cabin. Spotless, well stocked, thoughtful touches. The area is beautiful and peaceful. We look forward to a return visit.

We enjoyed our weekend at Alice’s place. She was very responsive. A quiet and beautiful spot on the lake.

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. Tom was very accommodating and helpful before and during our stay. Check-in was easy and quick and there was clear instructions on how to do it. Tom was very prompt and helpful whenever we had questions. The space also had lots of information on local activities so we had a good idea of what was around. The space was clean and had all of the amenities listed.

Cottontail Cabin is on a large property in the woods, less than ten minutes from downtown Merrickville. The cabin looks rustic from the outside, but is nicely renovated inside, with everything our family of four needed for our five-night stay. Highlights were the woodstove and the hot tub. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. We adored Merrickville, from the delicious pizza delivered from Iron Forge, to the gelato at Stella Luna Gelato Café - so yummy, we got it two days in a row, to the fudge sold at Chaiya Home & Garden Décor (bonus was their sweet dog, Farley). Many of Merrickville's shops feature unique handmade products and artisanry. I won major points for having booked a glassblowing workshop at Gather Brewery and Glassworks. We learned about the art of glassblowing and each got to make our own piece of glass art. Very cool. We had a great trip and would recommend Cottontail and Merrickville to any couple, family, group of friends who want a relaxing, cozy, fun get away.

We loved Yana’s cottage. Great swimming right out front, Westport is a beautiful town close by with wonderful shops. We enjoyed our time.

The Heron's nest was quite lovely and even better in the summer because of the outdoor spaces available. Meredith had little touches that made us feel special: chocolates on our bed pillows, his and hers bathrobes, drinks in the fridge and cozy blankets you can snuggle with. The space was well lit, nicely decorated with seasonal accents, and stylish. Every space was clean and well maintained. The view of the river and the village is spectacular. We would happily return to Meredith's place. However, I would want to take advantage of the outside.

We intended to have a peaceful, relaxing weekend and we were not disappointed. As magic as this spot is in the summer, it brings some much-needed quiet in the fall months. We have stayed before and had as much as a lovely time as we did the last. We will absolutely return! Thank you again for the hospitality!
