Willkommen im «The Artist's Castle», meinem Schloss Kunterbunt. Hier trifft Geschichte auf good vibes. Atme durch, sei du. Du willst kreieren? Atelier und Werkstatt warten auf dich. Mit Blick auf den Fluss in meiner historischen Oase im mittelalterlichen Eglisau.

Herzlich willkommen in unserem kleinen Paradies! Wir haben uns über die letzten Jahre ein kleine Oase erschaffen, in der es uns an nichts mehr gefehlt hat. Von Gästezimmer, über Sauna, Whirlpool, Glamping Dome, Pavillon und Outdoor Küche umfasst unser Garten alles was man für eine gemütliche Zeit braucht. Wir wohnen am Rande einer sehr kleinen Ortschaft, etwa 14 kilometer vom Bodensee entfernt. Der Garten ist umgeben von Natur und hier in der Region lassen sich viele schöne Dinge unternehmen.

Bei ausgedehnten Spaziergängen in schönen Wäldern oder am idyllischen Rheinufer mit seinen zahlreichen Badeplätzen kannst du dich erholen. In 5 min erreichst du zu Fuß Restaurants, Supermärkte, Schwimmbad und Bahnhof. Jestetten ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflugsziele wie den Schwarzwald, Bodensee/Konstanz, Zürich und die Alpen. Züge nach Zürich und Schaffhausen fahren halbstündlich.

Please note: The accommodation has no kitchen and no microwave. ​Located in rural Hochfelden, you can reach Zurich Airport by car in 15 minutes and the city in 40 minutes. Alternatively, a bus runs regularly to Bülach train station. From there, there are direct connections to Zurich and to the airport (approx. 45 minutes travel time). For a more comfortable arrival and departure, I also offer a paid shuttle service to Zurich Airport and the city.

The heated Waldhauser Hof Fässle offers a unique overnight experience. The quiet retreat is designed for two people and has a cozy double bed, a seating area, storage space and a kitchen corner with a wash basin and refrigerator. Outside, a seating lounge invites you to relax. A dry separation toilet is located next to the barrel. Please note that there is no shower. Ideal for those who enjoy nature and want to relax!
