“The Knotty Pine”

If you are looking a quiet, cozy place to stay we have the place for you. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. It’s in a central location, walking distance to restaurants, Haven’s Gardens, one of the dog parks, splash park, basketball courts and downtown Washington Waterfront. If you are in town for golf, just ask what courses we can get you in at your cost. We are 20 minutes from ECU, 2 minutes from Vidant Hospital. Williamston is 20 minutes away , NewBern is 30 minutes away

I Built in 1913, this historic site was originally the Norfolk-Southern Cafe. In the 1930s, the building was the site of grocery stores and meeting spaces, eventually becoming a popular coffee shop called "The Coffee Caboose". The space was converted into a private house, located steps from the waterfront and downtown dining and shopping. We sincerely invite you to come and enjoy our waterfront town.
