A nice piece of happiness for you! In Windheim an der Weser, we were able to preserve a piece of the “healing world” for people who like the “simply good”. In addition to the historic farmstead Windheim No2 (https://windheimno2.de/) with the Westf. Storchenmuseum, we have restored a small house, "Dat Lüttke Hues." It offers pure idyll! 2 bedrooms for max. 4 people, a bright bathroom, central heating, a living room with wood-burning stove, adjoining open kitchen and exit to the garden with seating.

The master bedroom with a double bed and TV, kitchen and shower room can also be booked separately. Please note that the second bedroom can only be accessed through the master bedroom. So this is then a PASSAGEWAY ROOM! Our accommodation is located in the village. Rural and (mostly) quiet. The immediate surroundings are ideal for bicycle rides and walks in the woods. Shopping for basics such as groceries is available ~ 4 km away. The district capital of Diepholz is ~ 10 km away.

Historic Cottage for nature lovers

Our little bakery originally dates back to the 17th century and belonged to a large Lower Saxony farm, which unfortunately no longer exists. Jutta acquired the house a good 20 years ago and made it into a small oasis with a lot of love for detail. Located in a village of 1000 inhabitants with a village store, bank and gas station, you can find peace and relaxation under the huge oak trees. Expanded bike paths invite you to cycle. The rural environment offers plenty of nature.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation in our modern and high-quality vacation home "Gestüt Lohhof". The house is idyllically situated in the middle of our horse stud farm. From the bed you can enjoy the direct view of the horse pastures – relaxation and tranquility guaranteed! The fully equipped cottage can accommodate up to 4 people (2 adults & 2 children). Optionally bookable: children's pony fun with guided riding and individual horse coaching.

Rural apartment

The 100 sqm apartment near the Weser Cycle Path invites you to beautiful bike tours. Both sides of the Weser can be explored by the Petra Solara ferry and the Weser bridges in Nienburg, Schlüsselburg, Petershagen and Minden. Excursion destinations such as the glassworks in Gernheim, the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument in Minden and Porte Westfalika, the waterways with the Weserkreuz and much more are very popular. Please note, the nearest grocery store is 7 km away...

Make yourself at home! We have furnished the house with a lot of love for detail like our own home. Cozy, stylish and with a lot of commitment. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay with us. You should not want for anything. The house is centrally located and yet in a quiet residential area. There are many shops, playgrounds, downtown, a swimming pool, sports grounds, doctors, pharmacies and much more in the immediate vicinity.

Living in the (tiny) house - idyll in Crane Land!

Relaxed, quiet atmosphere for stargazers! Idyllic garden house on former farm in a very quiet location. Ideal for cyclists and country lovers, far away from cities and villages. In good weather, stargazers can admire the Milky Way, as the view is so clear at night. During the day you can just sit down and listen to the birds and in the evening enjoy the chirping of the crickets with wine. Starting in October, the cranes move into the country.

Vacation in nature under shady oaks

The "Amboss" invites you to relax and is self-built. Equipped with an induction cooker, water cooker, small oven, dry toilet, a bunk bed (150*200), a bunk bed (100*200). The shower is outside. Around the farm, there are fields and meadows – the moor with great offerings. A beautiful swimming lake, very easy to reach by bike. Outdoor natural swimming pool within walking distance. Please note: Final cleaning €30 to be paid locally.

We offer a cozy apartment for up to 8 people on our farm. There are 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms available The apartment with approx. 150 m² of living space is adjacent to our property and is available for exclusive use. It is lovingly and high-quality furnished and suitable for allergy sufferers (therefore unfortunately no pets). The heated outdoor pool and sauna invite you to relax, with views of the Wiehen Hills.
