Great cozy and clean accommodation in the heart of Greetsil, also very good with children. The owners were very accommodating and, for example, set up a baby cot.

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week. Only one night – but full of impressions. Rysum welcomed us with its quiet beauty, and the "Alte Bäckerei" was a very special place to arrive and feel good. Furnished with a lot of love and a lot of taste, the listed house radiates a warm, honest atmosphere – you can feel its history. And for me as a person trained in the craft, I particularly liked the artistic master's certificate of the former resident, when I compare it with my boring journeyman's certificate (but also almost 100 years later). Thank you for this little break in a great place and a great village.

The place was really great and especially the kitchen equipment was really great. I just have one note. The pictures state that the tourist tax is included in the price. I only learned three days before arrival that this is not the case, in my opinion this should have been better communicated or already communicated at the time of booking. But I would book the apartment again at any time and also with this rental, because I was very satisfied with everything else.

The house is wonderfully located on a small Siel with evening sun in the garden - wonderful! The decor is stylish and chic. The kitchen is very well equipped and even in the rain you can eat outside under a roof on the terrace. It is a stone's throw to the Petkum ferry (there are good fish rolls) and you can quickly reach Emden after a short bike ride along the canal. All around a very great accommodation, which I can only recommend.

The house is stunning, equipped, kitchen, rooms, all the facilities are of a high standard. Very suitable for family. The area is quiet and green, birds chirping, a real treat for nature lovers. The hosts are available for any questions, help, and recommendations at an exceptional level.

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

You really have to rate this place as very positive. Just finished 3 weeks ago, everything was great. The location is fantastic because right by the beach and town. We really didn't see our car for 1 week. We will be back for sure.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

A lovely retreat surrounded by farm animals. Perfect to start/finish the first couple of legs from the Pieterpad.

I was looking for a break and the accommodation was perfect for that. My dog and I felt very comfortable, happy to come back 😊

Wonderful and nice central place to explore Schier. In the middle of the village, near the bus, restaurants, supermarket and cozy terraces. Cozily furnished and nice terrace at the front where you can watch the world pass a bit. Also very nice to be able to use the two basic but good quality bicycles. Adjustable saddle without tools in height. Recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a really very nice flat. Comfortable, clean and well laid out. It is situated in a charming, peaceful, mound village. There is a good restaurant, good supermarket and a museum. Lovely walks. Excellent place to base yourself to explore the area. Harry was very helpful and kindly provided some drink and snacks. It was hard to leave such a picturesque place.

Stayed here for the third time. Nice and private and within walking distance of a festival we went to. A nice place to retreat to. The accommodation is very complete and hopefully we will come again next year.

We we‘re so happy with our stay in Zuidwolde! Beautiful countryside around the Airbnb, lovely to sit outside and enjoy it. Only 10 min in car to central Groningen, very easy route. There is private and free parking on the property. The flat is good size for a nice weekend away, we had everything we needed. Communication with Klaas was great, we’d definitely book again!

The accommodation is super furnished, everything is super clean and well maintained. We highly recommend. Thanks and see you next time!
