Old Gardener’s House – a waterside paradise

The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

In October 2021, a detached house centrally located in Neumünster was renovated. The outlet center is only 3 minutes away. In about 40 minutes, you can reach Hamburg via the A7 or Kiel in 30 minutes. In addition, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea are within easy reach. Whether Hansa Park, Heide Park or Legoland in Billund, they are always worth a trip from here. Quiet and centrally located, the small house is in the backyard of one of the best locations in Kiel – Brunswik district! Bicycles can be parked outside the door. The UKSH is within minutes walking distance, the stop "Schauenburgerstr." in approx. 5 minutes. Holtenauer Straße with shops, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, cafés and bars is right around the corner. For safety, cameras are at the entrance. The cozy summer cottage is located directly on the lake and is located on the same approx. 3500 m² property as our house (approx. 45 m away). At the end of the cul-de-sac, it is very quiet, surrounded by nature. It is practically and comfortably furnished, with everything your heart desires and offers accommodation for 2 people, possibly with a child. The sofa in the living room can be used as a sofa bed if necessary. Ideal for couples, friends, a small family or all alone.
