Monthly Rentals in Wallasea Island

Really enjoyed our stay in Burnham on Crouch and this property is very well located to explore the area. Quirky, tastefully decorated and well furnished. Lovely, well designed garden allows you to take in the sun all through the day. Local convenience store is very close by and Burnham has many great pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. All of which are pretty much a stones throw away. Parking was a little tricky as we had to use the free public car park but once we found the little alley at the end of the terrace the car park is actually only 1min away. Really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed two nights in this beautiful Georgian garden flat and felt very at home. Antony is super friendly and sent a detailed welcome pack ahead of time including tips for things to see and food recommendations. The kitchen was well equipped (we like to cook for ourselves) and generously provided lots of bits and bobs including milk (soya as well as regular), bread and juice. The garden front and back is very pretty and lovely to sit out in. The wifi was powerful enough to watch shows on our phones, although it was nice to read/play games and not just sit in front of a screen. Absolutely recommend staying here if you want to explore Sheppey (particularly if you want to visit Elmley reserve but stay somewhere homely and cheaper!).

Samantha’s Penthouse apartment was exactly as described and so much more. So airy and spacious and decorated so lovely and thoughtful. Had me looking where things came from to get for my own home. Communication was perfect, also checked in with us to see everything was ok and checked in smoothly. Location was just enough out of Southend to have a good 20 min walk to the pier. Recommend the train on there as well. Toby Carvery was 2 min walk and easy food for a night out. Also the chip shop 5 mins walk was really nice too. Overall such a lovely stay and shall be returning as some point. Thank you ☺️

Myself and 2 friends stayed at Nikki’s place while in the area for some ocean rowing. The home was exactly as described. It was quaint and well equipped and very close to everything in the town. Nikki was extremely responsive and accommodating, even coordinating a late night arrival as we were coming from overseas. Would highly recommend Nikki’s place for a stay in Burnham-on-crouch. It’s a perfect place to stay while enjoying the area and its wonderful people. We will be back!
