In the churchyard, neighbouring the award winning and brilliant Railway Inn, this 18th century Ketton stone cottage is a very special place to come and stay with friends and family. We have the Rutland Vineyard, a village stores, it is near Rutland Water, there are fab local walks, a great food scene, and there is Burghley House in Stamford, “England’s most attractive town” according to John Betjeman. For me, it is like the Loire and Cotswold towns, but friendlier and with fewer Range Rovers.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This newly converted barn has its own private south facing courtyard with views over farmland and the church. The space is light and airy with exposed beams, and provides a separate bedroom with super king bed /3ft singles. A fully equipped kitchen area and relaxing seating area are also provided with free wifi. There is level entry throughout, with no steps. Luxury apartment with outstanding views

We created a self catering studio apartment from our hay loft during the lockdown of 2020. In the heart of the Welland Valley in Leicestershire there are are wonderful views up the hill to Nevill Holt (home of the Nevill Holt Opera Festival) and from the sofa you will be able to watch the sun setting behind the hill.
