Holiday rentals with breakfast in Wadduwa

It was a great place to stay, the owner did try to accuse us of mishandling their furniture. But it was resolved amicably, would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. It is quite a drive from the main city, Colombo.

our host Sepalika was just lovely. even before we checked in, starting from when I booked the house, she was messaged and kept in touch and was very responsive giving details about her home and all the information that one would possibly think would be necessary for the stay. we were a group of 7 and even though we checked in late we had a smooth check in and the house was just warm, cozy and so very clean. attention to even the most little detail for the comfort of the guests was amazing and the 2 caretakers of the house were very respectful disciplined and the utmost helpful to guests. we had very enjoyable lovely continental breakfast served every day which was included in the booking price. as we had late flight sepalika even allowed a late checkout free of charge. Overall it was the one of the most comfortable and enjoyable stays from our trip to srilanka.

The Palm Beach Villa was absolutely amazing! Piyal, the house manager, was waiting for us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, even tho we arrived early in the morning. There was a wonderful breakfast waiting for us upon our arrival. Piyal and Sujami took such great care of us during the day, and Sumith was there all night, which made us feel very safe. We weren't expecting the high level of pampering we received from the 3 of them. It really made our stay truly relaxing. The Villa and grounds are beautiful! The dogs were an added surprise, and were definitely part of the experience :) The pool was heavenly! The beach was right there!!! and was so beautiful and virtually empty! Watching and helping with the morning fishermen was an experience we will never forget! The location is so private, but close enough to many of the island's attractions. Piyal was a gracious host, driver, and AMAZING cook!!! Sujami was so sweet and helpful. Sumith was great! Will def be back!

Mit Abstand die absolut beste Unterkunft die wir jemals hatten. Schon von der Kontaktaufnahme bis hin zum Check out einfach alles super. Charith und Tharaka sind die Perlen des Hauses. Wir wurden während unseres Aufenthalts liebevoll umsorgt. Charith überraschte uns jeden Morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück und ging sogar auf die Sonderwünsche der Kinder ein. Die Villa wurde täglich gereinigt, frische Blumen standen auf dem Tisch... einfach liebevolle Detailarbeit. Es ist ein super gemütliches offenes Haus, mit großen Räumen ohne unnötigen Kram, aber viel Liebe zum Detail. Die tolle Aussicht vom Pool über die Reisfelder und gleichzeitige Privatsphäre spricht für sich. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, dem kann tatsächlich nicht mehr weiter geholfen werden. Zusammengefasst: Urlaub vom feinsten ab der ersten Minute.

Fabulous villa for our two families of 4 adults and 4 children (all under 5). The pool was the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka with a guard on duty to clean daily as well as being located in a lush garden where we had water monitors, mongoose and eagles fly above us. Jayantha is a true master in the kitchen. Please order his dinners if you stay as they taste delightful as well as cheaper than out at restaurants. The breakfast was even better with different options each day (egg hoppers, pancakes, omelette plus fresh fruit and toast). If we return we would not hesitate to stay again.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Cocomari-Villa. Die Villa ist wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und liegt perfekt an einem wenig besuchten Strandteil. Somit hat man den Strand quasi komplett für sich und hat einen direkten Zugang vom Grundstück aus. Ithquan war sehr hilfsbereit, jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns einen flexiblen Check-Out ermöglicht. Das einzige was man wissen muss ist, dass es nur in zwei der drei Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage gibt. Ansonsten können wir die Villa wärmstens weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. 😊

This was a very nice stay in Galle Fort. The house is very beautiful and we felt very good. We did not initially realise it comes with a housekeeper from 8am to 4pm. But after our request we could limit these times to an hour per day so we would have our privacy. I was happy there was understanding for our needs. Thx for this lovely stay 🙏🏼

As always, Kapila and Kumudu’s place was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even extended for a few nights as it was super convenient! We will be back soon :)

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

When planning my trip to the South Province of Sri Lanka I was looking for an authentic, calm, modern, clean and one of a kind accommodation. The BoBo's Cinnamon Estate Duwabedda met more then my expectations. I am still dreaming of the soft breeze, the shy smell of cinnamon, the peacocks who visited us before heading to the next lot (this time a rice field), the smooth awakening early in the morning (gentle prayers of the Buddhist monks from far away, early morning songs of the birds...), the lovely Ceylon tea, the host's topless tuk tuk that brought us to the sea side, Galle and other destinations, and so much more... Catrin and Bharatha were caring and loving hosts. They were present yet discreet. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce logement. Susil et sa famille sont d’une gentillesse remarquable : accueillants, serviables et toujours prêts à aider. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous, intégrés à leur famille dès notre arrivée. Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos. Tout est propre, bien équipé, notamment la cuisine qui dispose de tous les ustensiles nécessaires. L’endroit est calme et paisible, idéal pour se reposer, tout en étant très bien situé. Tout est accessible à pied en quelques minutes : supermarché, marché de légumes et de poisson, restaurants, boulangerie… La plage toute proche est magnifique, et non loin se trouve un spot où l’on peut nager avec les poissons et les tortues, dans une eau calme et sans trop de vagues, ce qui est très agréable. La plage des tortues est un peu plus éloignée, mais toujours accessible à pied. Nous sommes reconnaissants pour cet accueil chaleureux et recommandons ce logement à 100 % !

Très bon accueil d'Amila et sa famille. La maison est un peu excentrée, mais Alima nous transporte partout où l'on souhaite. Le prix est raisonnable et affiché dans la chambre. Alima et sa femme cuisine très bien. Nous recommandons.

I was in Colombo for work, followed by a vacation with my family. Romesh's place was perfect for my 2 weeks of work in Colombo. The apartment is centrally located close to several restaurants. Romesh and Janak were very responsive throughout my stay. Check in was very easy and Janak welcomed me and oriented me to the place. The apartment is very well maintained with AC in all the rooms, and a good WIFI connection. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, microwave and all the implements for cooking and eating. The location is secure and I had no concerns about safety or security. Hotel Janki is close to the apartment and I had several meals there and use of the swimming pool for a small fee. When I am in Sri Lanka, I normally stay in my own house, which is currently rented out. Romesh's place was as good as staying at my own house. Thank you.

This is my second time staying at this property and we loved the proximity to all the key places in Colombo. Yasmin was very helpful and organised. Looking forward to our next visit!

Sri Mathie was the perfect getaway property for us and Guy was such an amazing host. It is nestled in the jungle with beautiful flora and fauna all around the property. Wonderful architecture, art, and open spaces make it a unique stay. Lots of things to do close by and with Guy's help everything was accessible. Also relaxing and peaceful just to stay on the property and enjoy everything it has to offer. Guy really made the stay extra special, the hospitality we were shown was so nice. Amazing meals filled with intention, wonderful conversation, perfect amount of privacy while feeling taken care of, cant say enough good things!

Мы приехали в три часа ночи и нас встретили, как родных. Хозяева очень внимательные и отзывчивые. Если вам хочется, немножко пожить в тропическом лесу, понаблюдать за попугаями, белками, насекомыми, посмотреть на растения, то это отличное место. Веранда расположена, так, что открывается вид на растительность и создаётся ощущения уединённости. Завтраки заслуживают отдельного внимания, о времени можно договариваться заранее, так как нам было удобно. Всегда был вкусный цейлонский чай, фруктовые шейки, а блюда вкусные с местным колоритом, каждый день новые и разнообразные. Теперь о доме и ее хозяйке. интересный дизайн (из-за чего мы его и выбрали) нам трём друзьям было в нем комфортно и уютно. Реальность оказалась лучше картинки в приложении. Хозяйка реагировала на наши просьбы, все наши нужды были удовлетворены. Интика окружила нас заботой и вниманием. Мы готовили ужины сами, либо на гриле во дворе, либо на кухне дома. Вечера проводили на веранде. Убирают дом, по нашему желанию, так же меняют полотенца. Есть стиральная машина, Хозяйка с удовольствием покажет, как пользоваться техникой. И высушит вещи. Что нас очень порадовало, так это пляж. Широкая береговая линия, отличная температура воды и минимум людей. В отличии от другого конца пляжа. Пешком 12 минут, нам очень нравились эти прогулки, есть возможность посмотреть на настоящую жизнь местных жителей. До фруктового рынка 10 минут. До рыбного рынка 15 минут. Мы очень остались довольны и расположением и ценой и конечно качеством. Спасибо большое за гостеприимство!

Perfect place for a little romantic getaway in the beautiful Galle fort! You couldn't ask for a better location, kinder hosts, and a more delicious breakfast. Highly recommend staying at the Dutch Wall:)

Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit in unserer „Dreamtime Lodge“. Alles super authentisch, sauber & genau so eingerichtet, wie auf den Fotos. Eine tolle Auszeit im Dschungel! Das ganze Personal war super freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Unser Highlight war das tolle Frühstück. Alles sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und liebevoll hergerichtet. Soorya Kala was our first accommodation in Sri Lanka, and I can only say it was the perfect start to our trip! The place is very modern, beautifully decorated, and absolutely clean. The location is a dream – right on the beach, with restaurants and shops within walking distance, and you can listen to the waves while falling asleep. The breakfast is included and incredibly delicious! But what impressed us the most was the hospitality from Nagulan and the whole team. We felt completely at home and would definitely recommend this place!

Wir waren 2 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Wir wurden sehr liebevoll empfangen, sodass wir uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Der Gastgeber und seine Frau waren sehr hilfsbereit und man hat gemerkt, dass sie Freude an der Vermietung des Airbnbs haben. Wir haben ein wunderbares Frühstück erhalten, welches unsere Erwatungen mehr als übertroffen haben. Ebenso war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich! Danke für dieses wunderbaren Aufenthalt!

A glorious stay. Most comfortable. Loved the plunge pool and it's setting. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts. We really enjoyed our stay with Dinesh. A beautiful home set in a magical garden setting with the birds and monkeys around. A short tuktuk ride into Galle or walk nearby restaurants. Enjoyed chatting with Dinesh who took the time to engage with us. Highly recommended.
