“Lust Yoga offers everything you really want from a holiday: nice and spacious rooms, superfriendly staff, exquisite vegan food and morning/evening yoga classes (at a high level thanks to Andy and Mikaela). A special thanks goes to all of the staff at Lust Yoga on the verge of Covid-19 and the cerfew that was in force the whole weekend we stayed here. When Ahangama and the whole country was shut down, Lust Yoga still managed to offer exquisite and delicious vegan food to all of the guests and was propably the only place where the Yoga classes were still running. They managed to offer comfort and help in the middle of a very chaotic situation. We were so lucky to be here and enjoyed the rest of our holiday 🙏 We definitely want to go back here some day.”

“A group of us (family and friends) planned a trip to Thailand and we wanted to go to one other country. Originally we had planned to go to Bali but realized it was their rainy season so we decided to go to Sri Lanka on a whim after finding this awesome Airbnb. After reading the reviews, it seemed like most people opted to stay at the Airbnb for most of the time because of the amazing pool and the hospitality from Sonali and her family who lives close to the property. I knew for sure my group would want to go out and explore most of the time - but I was wrong! This place has everything you need and Sonali and Lasantha are truly wonderful people that made sure we had everything we needed. They cooked all of our meals for us, organized a masseuse, a boat ride on the lake and all our tuk-tuk's. We did go to Unawatuna Beach for a day which was fun - beautiful beach with lots of beach bars. This Airbnb ended up being the most relaxing part of our trip. I would not recommend if you are trying to party and go out, but we had a blast eating great food and drinking wine with an amazing view! Also, I feel like this is understated in the other reviews... there are literally monkeys hanging out jumping about trees right next to you!! It is SO cool! My only qualm was there were a lot of bugs and the whole place is essentially open air so I had to get over my fear of bugs very quickly. Thank you to Ken, Lesley, Sonali and Lasantha for their amazing hospitality!”
Located at the front of the property, Queen Room 2 features beautiful french doors that lead out onto a shared verandah. Bright & airy, it sleeps two in a queen sized bed and features a small but functional private bathroom with a shower. The room is full of all the important details and standard creature comforts: super soft high quality linens, plush towels, rain showers with solar hot water, overhead fans, high ceilings, free wifi and jungle views. Breakfast is included in our room rates.
“Where do you start when trying to describe perfection to the last little detail? Obviously, with the people making this an unbelievable experience. Pheebs and Seddy have created a space where you feel at home while being spoiled with kindness and beautiful indulgence. All The Kip crew greet you with a sincere smile and a good chat every time, making it really hard to leave the place without missing the personal touches. Then the food: amazing! Easily the best breakfast we've ever had. Beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced and flavored, indulgent without making you feel bloated or heavy...pure delicious nourishment every single morning. And for dinner, it was so delicious that we had to come back to get the same dishes for our last night in SL. Then, the coffee...imagine that you're in Italy for an espresso or in Australia for a cappuccino (with homemade cashew milk)...yeah, it's that good. Then the best part, the place...jeez! You're actually living one of those surreal Instagram posts with gorgeous little quaint details. Sober yet classy and natural. Wide and fresh room with a huge plant to make you feel like you're sleeping in nature. The linen and towels are soft and clean, the bed is super inviting (especially when you walk into your room after turndown service -yes, you read right-). The common areas are great for a good read, a tea or even for meditation. The restaurant area is jungly and quite bohemian...expect to see fellow Kip fans popping in throughout the day for a bite, a drink and good vibes. And the shop, well, I guarantee you'll end up getting something from their cute collection. A little extra is when you tell people around that you're staying here, apparently is the talk of the town...The Kip came to reimagine hospitality in the Southern beaches. All in all, a dream of a stay, and one that you'll definitely want to come back to. Thanks for everything guys! Hasta pronto :)”
