Villa holiday rentals in Wadduwa

WOW, This is the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. the moment the gates opened we was greeted by chandana, priyantha and malani. a much needed welcome after the long journey. A refreshment and cold towel, was given to us by malani. The villa itself made even more special by these three Amazing people. The gardens are just the most stunning scenery pure bliss, the sounds of the wildlife inside and the surroundings are just amazing. Priyantha attends every morning and evening to clean the pool and surrounding garden the month we went was when the leafs fell from the tree he worked tirelessly everyday am and pm to assure the lawns was clear “for the children to play” he also took us to hikkaduwa most evenings, we would what’s app him and he would come and collect us. Malani also worked tirelessly cleaning the villa everyday and on 3 occasions brining in breakfast for us. Chandana Went above and beyond we went on 3 excursions with him. One of the nicest people ever.

Absolutely wonderful host.Extremely friendly and always there to guide us.The villa was very clean and the plunge pool was the Highlight.When we had a niggle with ceiling fan it was replaced immediately.The caretaker Roshan was such a nice young boy and he was always there to take us around in his TukTuk.Nice gesture on the host part to get a small little gift for my sons Birthday!Hasantha himself drove us around on the first day.Will surely comeback to stay when we visit next.Thankyou Hasantha ,Shashika & Roshan for the wonderful stay.

Coconut tree villa is such a special place. The location is really incredible, so peaceful, surrounded by jungle with birds, monkeys and peacocks. Our children loved the pool and were made to feel like royalty by the staff on site. We had a few lovely meals prepared by the lovely ladies for extra cost. Roshan the tuk tuk driver took us to the market to choose some fish, but beware, we were scammed when we went ventured off from him to buy fruit, spending £17 on a few items! The town is a 5 min tuk tuk ride away and we paid 600 ruppee each way, directly to Roshan. We were provided with a mobile and we just called him once we had finished at the beach and he arrived in miniutes. Lesley is a fantastic host, and responded to our requests. We had the most incredible start to our trip and wished we had booked longer, we cant wait to return to CTN!

Asela is a great host!!! Very hospitable and friendly, always ready to help with all issues. We lived in the villa for a whole month. The house is always very clean, cleaning every few days. Convenient location of the house, just 10 minutes by tuktuk to the sea and all the establishments. We are very happy that we ended up here I highly recommend this villa, secluded accommodation surrounded by birds and beautiful nature Also really liked Asela's restaurant, one of the best we have visited! Thank you!

Benjamin is a great host, easy to communicate with and very caring. The place is just special as described, dinner was awesome. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would return anytime.

Villa Vintage is a beautiful authentic home away from home. Although it is big enough for a family, the two of us had a really nice time here. Great place to work and to relax at the same time. The villa is secluded in the green and lush hinterland of Hikkaduwa. Away from all the city noise but at the same time it is very close by and walkable to the heart of Hikkaduwa. We can not recommend this villa enough. Prabhath & Brig Himal are excellent hosts who will do anything to make you feel at home. Easy communication throughout our stay.

The house, the garden simply fantastic! The kitchen is a little small, but everything you need is there. The "gardener " cooked something for us in the evening, super delicious. The two guard dogs😂, two dear decent cuddles, welcomed us joyfully every day, our children as well as we were really happy with the two.

I love this place. It’s our second time coming back as a family with two small kids. And the place is just amazing. Caters to the needs of a family while still being stylish. The garden is lush and green and the pool is amazing - my kids have talked about Prabashs house for a year since we left the last time - we can’t wait to be back again.

Beautiful villas in an authentic and natural location. Very clean, lovely pools and garden space leading straight onto the empty beach. We were so well looked after by everyone and the food cooked for us by Jagath was incredible. Julius was also very helpful and quick to respond to queries. Would very much recommend a stay here.

Good place to stay

My family and I loved the house and everything about it. As somebody mentioned before there are 3 bulls/cows, 4 dogs. They don’t bother you at all but the kids didn’t play as much as they wanted in the backyard because they were afraid of the bulls. The house is VERY clean, very comfortable beds and big bathrooms. And most importantly the staff are very respectful and helpful.

Hello all travelers. If you are looking for well-being, comfort, peace and entertainment literally just a few steps away, don't hesitate and come here. Breakfast with a view of the wild ocean, where you can have a great time and forget all your worries. The villa offers all food at any time, but you can buy food about 50 meters away in the market and leave it to the wonderful host and his team, who will arrange literally everything you ask for. So an ideal choice for a group of friends. It is a little more expensive, but if it can be taken that way because everything here is at prices that are still more than good. If you are planning a trip, the prices are very similar everywhere and here they will arrange any trip you can think of at prices like anywhere else in the area. If you are traveling with a backpack, go somewhere else here, it is associated with better quality and I recommend taking the whole place so that you have privacy, which I think is the most important thing th

Great place to stay as a group or family in Wadduwa, the spaces and huge with a big pool and direct beach access. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home, the food prepared for us was some of the best Sri Lankan food we ate during our stay!

Words cannot describe how perfect our stay was. Sharmini was a fantastic host, even before we got there. She was quick to answer my many questions about the villa, the local area and sharing details of companies that could collect our large party of 12 from the airport. Even calling them on my behalf when they didn't respond to my messages. The photos of the villa don't do it justice. The rooms are all a fantastic size, beds and pillows comfy and the bathrooms are wonderful. The location on the beach was just perfect. We were 3 families with 6 children between 2 and 8 and we all spent our time running from beach to pool l. Idilic. But the standout feature of the villa is the fabulous and dedicated staff. Dilu, Milan and Bandu. Dilu could not do enough for us and was on hand, yet discreet. Milan! Well his cooking is easily the best I've had in Sri Lanka. He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for all of us every night catering for us all! Our villa stay was perfect in every way!

Villa Vehalla was a fantastic place for a cross-hemisphere family reunion. The property was great for kids, had its own pool in a beautiful setting, the host was extremely responsive and helped us organise outings and connections to our places of travel. The chef and other staff on the property were helpful and responsive - we become friends with them too. I recommend the property to others looking for a holiday villa for a large group in Sri Lanka. Staying here will mean help is on hand for all issues - say with food and logistics - you get to focus just on spending time with your group.

We had an amazing stay at Ivy Beach Villa with our group of 12 people. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The food at the villa's restaurant was absolutely delicious—every meal was a highlight of our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. They assisted us with transfers, organised trips, and gave great recommendations on what to do in the city and whom to trust. One of the things we appreciated the most was how safe we felt. We often left doors open, even at night, and never had any issues. Our belongings were completely secure throughout the stay. Overall, we are extremely happy with our experience. The staff played a huge role in making our vacation truly enjoyable, and we are very grateful for their hospitality. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the villa was truly exceptional. The property itself is stunning, with antique, beautifully maintained furniture that adds a unique charm to the space. The villa was impeccably clean, thoughtfully organized, and completely free of clutter. Situated in a peaceful neighborhood, the villa offers a serene retreat while being conveniently located just a 20-minute drive from major restaurants and tourist attractions. Irosh, the host, and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming. They greeted us with a delightful welcome drink, making us feel at home right away. Irosh was an excellent guide, offering insightful recommendations on places to visit and assisting us with transportation arrangements. Overall, the combination of the villa’s charm, its ideal location, and the hospitality of the host made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at on Airbnb throughout the whole world….no joke. This place had everything from a jacuzzi to a swimming pool to an optional chef… this place was better than the pictures, the house was big and spacious with high ceiling etc, and every room had a/c, a ceiling fan, an en suite and a balcony…so was perfect for travelling with my whole family (9 people). The entire villa is enclosed with a big gate out front for maximum privacy and security but was still in touch with nature. The outdoor garden area by the pool also has fruit trees for quick snacks and the property includes a maintenance team which manages the property by regularly cleaning the pool and throwing out the bins etc. Absolutely amazing property… our whole family made beautiful memories. Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Hikkaduwa and will definitely be back in the near future.

We had the most wonderful family Christmas at Villa Olu. The villa exceeded our expectations - the photos don’t do it justice! It was the most perfect setting for relaxing, having fun, playing games and not to mention the incredible family meals prepared and cooked by Kumara and Nadi!Experiencing the delicious traditional Sri Lankan cuisine was a huge highlight. Kumara could not do enough to help us - book tuk tuks, arrange massages at the villa and arrange transport. The villa is incredibly peaceful yet only ten minutes from Galle where we enjoyed visiting shops, sites and cafes. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Olu again, what a super family holiday!

We feel a bit teary writing this as Nalaka and his family now feel like a bit of a family to us. Our Sri Lankan family 🥰 We could not have asked for a better experience staying in Serene Cottage. We turned up to pure paradise and stayed for 10 nights, but it could have been longer. The house is down a quiet road in a rural village. It is pure peace. The bedrooms and wonderful, with super comfortable beds. The terrace is 10/10, nothing beats a morning coffee sitting out there. We could not fault the stay... and we could not fault Nalaka and his family. They went above and beyond at every moment. They made us a delicious breakfast everymorning, they helped arranging days out and taxi's, they even cooked us a dinner for my mums Birthday - something we will never forget. My sister had an accident and ended up in hospital, they were there straight away helping and supporting. This family have created a home away from home that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay at Amanda's villa! Great welcome:) The house is big, the pool is super nice! The paddling pool area is a great idea for small children! However, the train passes right next to the house. Even if we get used to noise quickly, it may come as a surprise at first.

We have just got home after our trip to the Tropical Beach House in Hikkaduwa. What a totally lovely time away. Great communication with Gavin prior to the visit and out in touch with Darmith (house keeper) and taxi transport for arrival. We arrived at 2am to be met by Darmith and Saji (security) and felt at home straight away. Darmith had collected fridge essentials before we arrived so we were set up for the following morning. The house and gardens are lovely, the sound of the ocean 24/7 is just perfect and the house was spotlessly clean with good facilities. Sangrita helped to provide us with Sri Lankan breakfast foods, loved the Dahl curry and the hoppers but also gave us an awesome Brit breakfast of eggs and bacon! Chandra was on hand at night to cook a bbq which was tasty and varied. We used Tuk tuks to get out and about during our stay which were easy to find. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Lots of local bars and eateries along the beach or further into Hikkaduwa.

Highly recommended: Kurokawa Kalutara is absolutely outstanding and a wonderfully charming property. It is peaceful, quiet, well-maintained and well-located. Shamara was very helpful and accommodating of our requests. A special shoutout to her staff members at the property, who were absolutely wonderful and helpful. The chef - Tharindu Asiri - is an absolutely amazing cook and we really enjoyed the food he made, especially the children who were able to choose a number of things which they liked. We were all in the pool several hours a day - the pool overlooks the Kaluganga and the property is really serene and calm. In the evening we also saw bats flying overshead which was amazing. All in all Shamara, Tharindu and the others made my mom's 75th birthday stay, along with my extended family and children memorable. Sri Lanka is beautiful and the people are really friendly - thanks again!
