The little Mukelbude

Our little Mukelbude is just the right place for a little break from everyday life and who wants to go with families and farm connection. Especially the chickens are looking forward to it! Inge's small farm is suitable as a starting point for numerous excursions in the area. The Kiel Canal is just around the corner, the North Sea about half an hour and the Baltic Sea about an hour away by car. Hamburg and Kiel are also an hour away. The place of the fries fork is about 7 km.

From here, you can take many excursions to the North Sea (Büsum 30 and Speichererkoog in Meldorf 20 minutes by car, ...).

The outdoor swimming pool of Kellinghusen is right near. The train station from Wrist with train connections to Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster, Pinneberg and Elmshorn is only 5 km away.

Our renovated farmhouse is located in a secluded location in the middle of a fantastic landscape on the edge of a nature reserve, directly on the Kiel Canal (5 minutes' walk). The house is surrounded by several hundred hectares of pure nature, which can be explored on foot, by bike or by canoe/SUP. The Holstenau flows directly through the 3-hectare, natural plot, which can also be used for a short cooling off in the summer.

"Blockhütte" Quellental in wonderful surroundings

Welcome to our little log cabin! The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.
