Our holiday home (new, 2026) is located in the heart of the Netherlands (the 'Groene Hart') between the towns of Montfoort and Oudewater. There are 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, so plenty of privacy! Perfect for families, groups of friends and companies. We have excellent connections to the A12/A2 motorways and a bus stop right outside our door, so cities such as Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft, Alkmaar, The Hague and Gouda, as well as all the major attractions in the Netherlands, are within easy reach.

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

The area offers ample opportunities for extensive cycling routes. In addition, within walking distance (800m) is a brasserie where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. We also offer the opportunity to explore both the Vliet and surrounding lakes and the center of Leiden on a luxury sloop, in consultation a lot is possible.
