The cottage is close to Rinkenæs down towards the water in a small fishing village with a cottage colony from the late 1950s There is a small beach with nice water and a bridge (from May 1 - September 30). The house is partially renovated - recycled materials - based on the old house from 1960.

Right on the beach you will find an excellent pizzeria. On the nearby campsite there is a small café and a small shop. Eckernförde, 10 km away, offers variety with its small, pretty shops and restaurants. Kappel is about 20 km away. Haitabu with the Viking Museum is about 30 km away.

Charming “chapel” in the north German Bullerbü

Our small "chapel" is located on a former farm between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Peacefully nestled between meadows, fields and moors lies our unmistakable "mini-village". We have four families with a total of five children as well as a friendly Hovawart dog, four cats, a rooster and two hens. All two- and four-legged animals run around freely on the property, there are no fences or gates.
