The house is close to Smedstugan, our second house we rent out here at Airbnb. Fishing included. Scheduled lax. A fish is included in the rental rental then SEK 130/ lax. Rowboat is included. The kitchen has a folding section, which can be pulled all the way to the side, large opening out to the terrace. Level 1 - kitchen, TV room, bathroom. Level 2 - Living room with open fireplace, balcony, 3 bedrooms. Wifi, apple tv.

Cheerful place to stay in converted barn

Sure, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to gardens, forest and lake! In 2022, we embarked on an exciting project to transform the barn on my grandfather's parent farm into a luxury leisure home. In May 2023 we finished the one apartment and in the autumn the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the patio in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Loading the car is included in the price.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

This cabin can be found next to the lake in the middle of the Småland forests about 30 minutes outside Jönköping. You will find your own jetty by boat 100 meters through the forest from the cabin. 3 min walk you also have a beautiful public swimming area with summer café. About 4 km from the cottage there is a food store, pizzeria and train station.

The stay was very nice, the sauna and the area with the lake and the small jetty was really great! :) The hut was clean, you had water containers available for washing dishes, showering... and firewood was also ready to use for the stove, which kept the hut nice and warm. The toilet was also clean. We would come back!

Sofie and Matthias are very likeable, lovely hosts. We were very warmly welcomed by the two and felt very welcome from the first moment to the end of our stay. They are always considerate of the privacy of the guests, but are always very helpful when it matters. Hosts as you wish for! The raft is conveniently furnished and offers extras such as a mini fridge, coffee machine and a few games. The surroundings and the integrated sauna with a view of the lake are additional highlights on the raft. Simply wonderful. The bathroom in the main house, about 20m from the raft, which has its own access for guests, is a gem, and is at the sole disposal of guests during the stay. We would love to come back and can gladly recommend the accommodation and the hosts. We wish the two of you all the best! Michèle & Roger

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The communication with the hosts was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The house was spotless and very well maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the level of privacy was exceptional — it felt like our own little paradise. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful jetty right by the lake — the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely love to come back!
