Chantal is a very welcoming host, she also gives nice little outings to do. The place is peaceful, met our expectations. The accommodation is very original and warm. Very nice stay. Thank you Chantal for your sympathy.

Great stay although short at Stéphanie's. Late arrival in complete autonomy, beautiful quiet place and very close to Angoulême. Stéphanie was very available before and during the stay, very welcoming and responsive to our various requests. Swimming in the Charente in complete privacy on the grounds will remain an excellent memory. I can only recommend, like dozens of other reviews, this place!

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Lovely accommodation with everything we needed in the house. Village has a market five days a week in the square opposite the house which has fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese and some fish. There is a butcher, boulangerie and a general store (the Tabac). The local restaurant is good for a pizza or steak. You have to drive to other restaurants in the area.
