Welcome to your own little Hobbiton, the self - catering holiday apartment which is attached to and below the main bungalow. The accommodation is central for most tourist attractions and beaches. The apartment contains a double bedroom, a WC/ bath/ shower room, the lounge/ kitchen/ dining room is open plan. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge and microwave. Secure parking for one vehicle is available. Sorry, smoking/ pets are not allowed . The apartment is unsuitable for children.

The coastal path offers walks and stunning view points along the way. Falmouth, Penzance and Newquay are easy drives from the cottage.

It is the perfect base for a short break or holiday.

Portreath is a village on the north coast of Cornwall. Portreath is three miles NWof Redruth and has a harbour and is a Sandy beach cove. Portreath has several pubs that serve tasty food and local drinks. There is a bakery, corner shop, several take always and a few cosy cafes too that serve drinks, cakes and light lunches. Dogs allowed on beach most of year but between 1st July and 30th August can only go on there b4 10am and after 6pm. This is NOT a disability friendly accommodation

Close to portreath beach (2 Miles) and a 10-20 minute drive to Hayle, St Ives and many other sandy beaches. Explore the coastal paths, spectacular nature and Lighthouse at Godrevy or simply dine al fresco on the decking . There are shops and a pub close by and the beach is a 30 minute walk through beautiful woodland, or 15 minutes on the bus, which stops right outside the house, meaning you can enjoy a Cornish pint on the beach in the sunshine without worrying about driving.
