Welcome to Kyrkenäs, our idyllic house at Näshult that we rent out when we are not there ourselves. The house is located all by itself in the forest and right by its own forest lake with a jetty, sauna and boat. Cottage with 2 rooms and kitchen built in the mid-1800s, newly renovated in old style with new, well-equipped kitchen and fully tiled bathroom. The cottage is located on a hill and has lake views from the veranda and the two rooms. The veranda has morning sun and the patio has afternoon and evening sun. The living room has a fireplace. Extra bed for adult/child available. Wood-fired sauna by the lake can be rented. Possibility of fishing, berry and mushroom picking. Beautiful surroundings in an old cultural landscape.

The house is located in a fantastic quiet and beautiful setting by the lake outside Nye where you have access to your own jetty and boat. Enjoy a boat ride and the view of the lake from the large deck. Just a few minutes away there is a swimming area, cafe and kiosk. Summer invites you to swim, fishing or boat excursions it is winter you can enjoy the tranquility at (or on) the ice. We are located in the Småland garden where the countryside has largely kept its character as you recognize from Astrid Lindgerns stories.

Meet our lovely red cottage in Småland surrounded by forest, hills and lakes. With all the comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood stove. The house has a big private garden where you can relax and make a campfire at the fire pit. Go fishing or take a swim in one of the lakes nearby. With a bit of luck you see deer and foxes from our sunny porch. Go skiing at the ski-slope, visit a moose park or go down the zippline. From April to October we rent out 2 kayaks.

Slappna av och njut i detta unika och nybyggda boende (2023) vid vägs ände i djupaste skogarna runt Virserum. Naturen inbjuder till långa promenader med fantastiska vyer och fina stigar. Huset inbjuder till vilsamma stunder att se på djur och natur genom de stora fönstren, till gemensam matlagning vid spisen, insupa en god bok i någon av de sköna fåtöljerna eller varför inte få till en härlig brasa i kaminen under höst och vinter. Denna natur och detta hus ska verkligen upplevas på plats.

Close to the beach, cozy cottage in beautiful Bråbygden.

History: Our farm was built early 1900 by Caroline's old grandfather Erik. Our residential house was built in 1908, the following years the rest of the buildings. 1925 man small cottage so then used as a small farmhouse, while upstairs and the part where the kitchen is now a storage room and grain warehouse. In the early 1980s it was converted into a residence, then by Caroline's grandfather Nils. Enjoy large garden, cozy cozy cottage only 80 meters from the shore.

Salshult_Ormaliden

“Ormaliden” is a charming 19th century cottage belonging to the Salshult farm. It is completely secluded but still near the country road, with the creek, small fields and cherry trees all around. It is close to two lakes with great opportunities for swimming and fishing. In Stenberga, 3 km away, there is a grocery store and café. The village, which is also called Småland's garden, is very beautiful with a small fractured landscape with interesting flora.

Simple life in the forest

Mycket enkel stuga för de som vill koppla av och leva det enkla livet. Nytt för 2024 är uteköket på baksidan mot kohagen. Nytt för 2023 är enklare toalett med utedusch (endast kallvatten). Stugan ligger mitt i de underbara Smålandsskogarna och är en perfekt platsen för avkoppling. Om du vill tillbringa din semester med en bra bok och begränsad kontakt med omvärlden då är den här stugan något för dig.
