You get the feeling and “alone in the whole world” despite 7 minutes to Fagernes city. Mindfullness. About 2.5 hours drive towards Valdres from Oslo. There is power and wood firing. There is one bedroom and living room with sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Must walk 40 meters from parking space to the cabin. Here you can really relax, in peaceful and idyllic surroundings. The cabin is secluded without neighbors, with forest around and a lake just below. Guests who rent the cabin have access to a rowing boat, and there are good chances of catching fish in the water for those who are happy to fish. There are many opportunities for nice trips either on foot or by bike. The place is perfect for families with children. There is both a zipline and a swing right by the cabin, in addition to the forest and the water, which offers many opportunities for play.

Olav the Sacred stayed 6 days on Listed in 1021 to prepare meeting with Dale-Gudbrand under the Christianization of Norway. Water in the tap is from "Olavskilden". The farmhouse is located in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen, midway between Oslo and Trondheim. Nearest neighbor is Sør-Fron Church (Gudbrandsdals Cathedral). Driving distance to Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Peer Gynt on Gålå or Rondane, Jotunheimen and Geiranger.

Welcome to Sønsterud – a cozy, newly renovated little red house on the historic Øya farm in beautiful Gudbrandsdalen! It has a unique history. The Øya farm has served as a guesthouse since the 1800s. It is located only 5 min. drive from Vinstra centrum with shopping facilities, and 20 min. drive from ski slopes. The house has beds for 5 to 6 guests (if 2 children) and has a kitchen, bathroom with shower, bedroom, living room w. 140 cm sofabed and a big veranda. Bed linen/towels included.
