Exception, cottage in rural setting

Welcome to our little cottage that we call Undantaget! The accommodation is located in the beautiful Småland village of Älö, 15 minutes from Vimmerby, ALV. Nearby are nice swimming areas. Undantaget is located on the edge of our plot, one side to a small garden with patio and the other side to an idyllic Småland cow pasture. The cottage is from the turn of the century and carefully renovated. Old windows, doors and floors are preserved. We who rent out Undantaget are called Elsa & Andreas, our two children and some Linderöd pigs also live here.

Cozy guesthouse in Mariannelund

Stay in our cozy guest house with its own garden. Close to, among other things, Astrid Lindgren's World (20 km), Katthult and Bullerbyn. In Mariannelund there is also Filmbyn Småland, Karamellkokeriet, Ica, nice natural areas with lakes, etc. The house consists of a large combined kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (a total of 7 beds + a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room), a toilet/shower and laundry room. Note: You clean before check-out (unless otherwise agreed) and bring your own towels and sheets

Grankvistgården (Farmhouse)

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.

Enjoy a rural stay with modern comfort and space for 6 – two sofa beds downstairs, one double and two single beds in the loft. Duvets, pillows, kitchen and toilet towels are included. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. The center with shops and restaurants is only 5 min from the accommodation, to Astrid Lindgren's World it is 1.4 km. High fence encloses the leafy garden The cottage is small and compact, maybe it suits a smaller family. The cottage is close to the railway with about 7 minutes walk to the station.
