Welcome to our little cottage that we call Undantaget! The accommodation is located in the beautiful Småland village of Älö, 15 minutes from Vimmerby, ALV. Nearby are nice swimming areas. Undantaget is located on the edge of our plot, one side to a small garden with patio and the other side to an idyllic Småland cow pasture. The cottage is from the turn of the century and carefully renovated. Old windows, doors and floors are preserved. We who rent out Undantaget are called Elsa & Andreas, our two children and some Linderöd pigs also live here.

Red Småland cottage, surrounded by quiet meadows and green fields. Only a stone's throw away is Astrid Lindgren's World, where fairy tales and childhood memories live on. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature. On the farm, we have chickens and sheep that you can meet if you want. In the nature around the cottage, we have most Swedish animal species, moose, deer, roe deer, lynx, but also the sea eagle can be seen scouting for prey on meadows and fields. If you want to fish and swim, there are two lakes within a few kilometers.

In Mariannelund there is also Filmbyn Småland, Karamellkokeriet, Ica, nice natural areas with lakes, etc. The house consists of a large combined kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (a total of 7 beds + a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room), a toilet/shower and laundry room. Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.
