Suitable for anyone in a district that has everything from Astrid Lindgren's world to excursion destinations in the Hultsfredsfestival's tracks. In the nearby area, there are moose parks, bathing areas, summer cafes, adventure park, Emil in Lönnebergas Katthult and farm shops.

Possibility to borrow a boat is available. 25-30 minutes by car to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's world and Bullerbyn. 35 minutes to Eksjö wooden city, about 12 km to Mariannelund. (nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

Welcome to rent our cozy cottage in Grönhult with proximity to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's World 23 km and the summer town of Västervik 35 km. The cottage is located on a gravel road with the forest as the nearest neighbor. A nice child-friendly swimming area is five minutes away by car. Two bedrooms and sofa bed in the living room. Bathroom with shower (water heater 50l) No drain so it is separate. In the kitchen, there is a stove, half fridge/freezer and microwave. There is a barbecue outside. For outdoor games, there is a dartboard, bokia and kubb.

Cozy cottage right on the water's edge. With electricity but without running water. Simple kitchen with equipment for a family. Cooking is done on the bench stove or grill outside. Bedroom with 3 beds and double sofa bed in the living room. Duvets and pillows are available, own bedding is included. Outhouse right next to the cabin. Boat is available to borrow. Fishing licenses are purchased at the nearest grocery store. Municipal swimming area only 200 meters from the cabin. Only 5 km to the nearest grocery store and 20 km to Vimmerby.

House in Djursdala, Vimmerby

Just outside Vimmerby town you can stay in beautiful Djursdala in the large farmhouse Klocketorp. The village is a rural idyll known for it's beautiful nature and is 13 km from Vimmerby. The home can give you the opportunity to experience Astrid Lindgrens World and the places around that are rewritten in the author's books. Djursdala with its roller coasters, the Djursdalarundan hiking trail and the popular restaurant Musteriet is in itself a lovely place to enjoy. The house of 170 sqm is perfect for a larger group.

Grankvistgården (Farmhouse)

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the middle of central Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but individually and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgrens World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a small child as there is a crib. Alternatively 4 adults. Sleeps and towels are not included. The tenant cleans before check-out.

Our summer cottage is located in the middle of Smålands nature near the small community of Locknevi, 27km from Vimmerby. The property is located on a very quiet rural road from where you can take wonderful bike tours and hikes in our picture book landscape. The next lake with a beach is 5 km away and the Baltic Sea is easy to reach by car. Excursions: e.g. Astrid Lindgren's birthplace, Astrid Lindgren's world, many film locations and Västervik on the archipelago

The farm Skuru is located near Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25 min drive to Astrid Lindgrens Värld Perfect for guests who want a quiet and pleasant holiday in the countryside. In 2020, we have renovated a kitchen, groventré and laundry and also built a brand new bathroom downstairs. Here is close to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

Villa in quiet area central in Vimmerby with walking distance to the travel center and the city center by the square (5-10 min) To Astrid Lindgren's World a few minutes by car, 25-30 min to walk. Lovely Guest garden with historical lands right around the corner. On the terrace you can in addition to the tranquility both enjoy morning sun and evening sun. To our house are also four-legged.

Bo som i Katthult i mysigt äldre hus i centralorten Mariannelund, 20 km från Astrid Lindgrens Värld. Huset är delvis renoverat med många bibehållna äldre detaljer. Snickarbod, utedass(ej i bruk) och vedbod finns på gården. Fin allmän badplats finns vid Mariannelunds camping.
