Really great experience. Spacious and very well-equipped accommodation, quiet and in a countryside environment. A little like at home, you just feel good there. To be repeated without hesitating!!

We had a lovely weekend. The accommodation was as Virginie described, peaceful and a magnificent view of the bay and Mont St Michel. Small touches were waiting for us in the accommodation. Communication with Virginie was extremely friendly.

We felt at home!! Staying with Véronique and Jean Jacques was just AMAZING. In another word, I can't describe that. There were four of us with a young child and there was nothing missing. The accommodation is well equipped and offers everything your heart desires and is missing what or you have a concern, the two hosts are immediately there for you. We were even greeted with homemade sausages and other delicacies and Jean Jacques asked us if we, as he himself is traveling with his food truck at the surrounding markets, whether he should bring us fresh oysters. Especially with children, the accommodation is perfect because you have the huge fenced garden with swings, toys and large meadow at your disposal and all to yourself. Excursions to nearby sights are also possible without far driving. We will definitely be back and can 100% recommend this fantastic house

We had a great time here. After a hectic and busy time, we were ready for some rest. We got that here. Very nice house with a nice terrace and furniture and wonderfully private. I highly recommend this cottage for a lovely quiet stay. Wiljlhelmine has been a Superhost for us.

Particularly clean and well equipped with very nice little touches, bouquet of flowers from the garden on the table, tea, coffee, herbal tea, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper all well presented. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night to be in the area of Mont Saint Michel because we were doing a tour of it the next day. You can see it from Cancale and it’s only a 35 minute drive The minute we walked into the Airbnb we were charmed. So much thought and nuance has been put into the place! We were impressed how well he used the space that he had to make the renovations he did. The shower was great, worked well and the whole apartment was super clean and had a very pleasant smell. The free parking is basically on top of the Airbnb and short two minute walk down some charming slate stairs. Even the parking lot overlooking the whole bay was like a big open arm welcome. We don’t like oysters or much seafood but if you do this is the place to get it. They are famous for their oysters! Definitely recommend, and also recommend other Airbnb hosts to stay there; to see how it’s done!

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Our stay was perfect. Beautiful apartment nicely decorated and clutter free. Saint Malo is worth the visit, even when the tourists abound.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Accommodation consistent with the photos, very clean and pleasant, in a quiet neighborhood. The bakery is a stone's throw from the accommodation, the supermarket 10 minutes away and the beach 15 minutes' walk! the terrace is a real plus, we took advantage of it. A big thank you to Chrystele for her smile. I highly recommend it! We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Very nice house, spacious and well arranged, suitable for adults and children, 5 min walk from the city centre of Cancale and 15 min walk from the port. Brigitte is a very kind and accommodating host. We had a great stay with 3 families without ever stepping on each other!

Very qualitative accommodation, which matches the descriptions, allowing you to have a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, the hot tub is very large and the kitchen is very functional. 2km from the beaches and cabins of Gouville, no complaints

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

An ideal place to meet with family and enjoy visiting Mont Saint Michel and Cancal. The house is spacious and well thought out to enjoy the place peacefully. Birds, hares and the crowing of the rooster on the terrace accompanied us to breakfast on the terrace. And a big thank you to Sophie for allowing us to travel with our four-legged friends.
