Beach house holiday rentals in Vilamoura

Lovely Villa, well located... 5 mins walk to the beach, 15 mins walk to the Strip, 20 mins walk along the beach to the old town. Clean, well stocked with kitchen equipment etc.. pool (albeit a little cold) and surrounding were well maintained. Transport company arranged by Jay, was seconded to none, lovely people very kind. Communication at the villa to the representative that checked us in was brilliant, any queries were sort and responded to immediately. We would definitively return :)

Family of 4 adults, 3 kids (7, 3, 1) stayed 6 nights in Aug 2024. Late check-in accommodated with clear instructions. Hosts did pre-arrival shopping - much appreciated. Great location: 5-min walk to town center (restaurants, grocery), overlooking Med with cool breezes. Next to popular beach parking lot (daytime campers). A/C worked well; ground floor cooler than upstairs. WiFi limited to 5 devices, didn't reach 2nd-floor bedrooms. Pros: Convenient location - Accommodating hosts - Beautiful views - Effective A/C Cons: - Limited WiFi coverage - Beach parking lot crowding and beachgoers parking in front of the property - Access to the beach is difficult for those with mobility issues (stairs and steep hill) Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return. Ideal for families wanting a mix of beach and town accessibility. Recommend for groups comfortable with basic amenities and prioritizing location over luxury.

This was a great place to stay in Albufeira. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable for sleeping. The location is great. It is a close and convenient walk to the Old Town square, shops, restaurants, and a very close walk to the tunnel and beach. It’s located in an area that’s quiet and very quiet at night. The hosts Fátima and Bruno were very friendly and helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this accommodation.

A nice, clean and conveniently located property. The property was brilliantly furnished. We particularly enjoyed the community feel provided by the surrounding bar and shops. Claudia was very responsive and provided a warm welcome.

What a spot! This couldn’t have been a better balance of convenience and comfort. The place is very spacious, pristine, and fully equipped, comfortable beds and a beautiful pool on the rooftop that the kids loved. The view of the ocean and beach was amazing and it was steps from the escalator down to all the action. We were a bit surprised by the party scene in Albufeira, which was pretty noisy and crowded, but that was all our ignorance. The house is right on a boardwalk elevated above the center of the action but revelers were out late and it was noisy if we had windows open, but when we closed them it was totally quiet and fine for our kids (9 and 5.) We ended up having a blast in the town where the crowds of football fans at all the restaurants during the Euro cup was great for people watching and a lovely energy. Tons of restaurants that were hit or miss, so follow the ratings! But for a place to stay, this was perfect!

We had a wonderful time in Portugal. This great house has significantly contributed to a great vacation. It was even nicer than in the pictures, Stephanie was a great host who responded promptly to requests and was there immediately. Will definitely be back, a clear recommendation from us. We had a wonderful stay in this stunning villa in Gale. It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of eight plus three small dogs, and we all had a fantastic time. The location was perfect, with Gale Beach just a short walk or bike ride away, and shops and restaurants only a few minutes from the villa. The property had everything we needed for our Christmas gathering, and Rob kindly provided logs for the cozy fireplace. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we especially enjoyed making use of the bar area during our stay. The back terrace was a real highlight: it’s a lovely sun trap, perfect for soaking up some December sunshine after leaving the UK! Rob and Jane were exceptional hosts—very responsive and quick to answer any questions. All in all, it was a great Christmas break in a beautiful villa. Perfect!

We had a great stay, we only wish the weather was better as we were not able to enjoy the outdoor space as it was cool and rained for most of the week. Perhaps we will tray again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the Villa was perfect for the size of our party.. 6 adults, 3 children aged between 6-9 and two babies. We had two small babies with us and this was catered for in terms of sleeping arrangements. The location was great , a 10 minute taxi ride to the old town was always fun. The old town was the highlight of our stay , great restaurants and bars,and colourful night life. The beach was fantastic! We had to have a large taxi to collect us at the airport and Isabel organised this for us and ensured baby seats were included in the cost. This was €70 euros reach way and considering the distance , time travelling and number of people , we felt this was fair. Manuel the driver was extremely helpful. All in all a nice experience….some rain in the few days we were there didn’t spoil things…22* was wonderful considering it was the end of October.

A beautiful and modern house. Very comfortable seating inside and outside. Lovely pool. Beds are very comfortable with huge bathrooms. Close to beaches and supermarkets nearby. Would love to come back

Stayed at the property for 10 days at the start of September - had an absolutely lovely holidays! Although pool was shared - there was nobody at the pool during our whole stay and it felt like our private pool!Linda was super helpful - organised two cots, the transfer to property as well as droped us to the shop to get some food late in the evening. The house is within 10-15min walk from the beach as well as 10-15min walk from big supermarkets/shops.The taxi costs only 3-4e to get to the supermarkets so there is no need to rent a car unless you plan to travel a lot. Super quiet location so very suitable for families.

Idyllic setting, wonderful feel of space avd seclusion. Multiple terraces from which to enjoy the stunning sunsets over the beach and town surrounds. Loved this place.

We loved the house! Excellent location, every room has its own bathroom. Everything was clean. Camilla was always happy to help and very responsive. Nothing to complain Just in winter bear in mind that there is no central heating in Portugal and it might be cold inside. There were radiators in each bedroom so it was alright.

Very family friendly house and quiet neighbourhood. The house was well equipped and the host very responsive and easy to communicate with. Quick 5-10 mins walk to S.Rafael beach. Local amenities, Albufeira centre and Gale Beach within 10 mins drive.

The accommodation is located on the outskirts of Armação de Pêra, surrounded by a few other houses and lots of fields and nature. The location is very pleasant. Daniel and his parents were very hospitable. Check-in was in portuguese with Daniel’s mother, who was very nice. Daniel himself speaks English. You can’t miss the two dogs that live on the property, but both are very friendly, and we had no issues with them. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the entire apartment was very clean. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but we had a car, so we were flexible. A wonderful Airbnb experience!

We thought this was an ideal place to stay with the family. Alice responded very quickly to any questions that we had. Our young grandsons loved the pool which was larger than most hotel pools.

We had a great time at Carla's place. Home is small but very functional and welcoming. The cleanliness is impeccable. The garden is very nice and the beach is right next door. The only small downside are neighboring dogs who often bark. Carla was super flexible about our arrival time, she was always available and greeted us with a smile and little surprises. Thank you Carla for this great stay!

Spectacular accommodation. Everything very close (beach, restaurants, etc.). Enchanted with everything. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is really very nice. You have a view of the sea from every floor and the garden. The photos really don't promise too much! The best part is the evening view from the roof terrace. The house is not only tastefully decorated, but also had the necessary utensils (some salt, oil, tea, coffee, detergent, dishwashing detergent...), which you always have to buy right away. There are even two umbrellas and beach chairs to spend an optimal beach day. Maria welcomed us warmly and provided us with good tips for the area. There were only a few other guests in the pool in the complex. This was also pleasant. The house has a very quiet location, so you can only hear the chirping of the crickets at night. At the same time, however, this also means that a car is recommended to drive to the supermarket, restaurants or to one of the great beaches in the area. Checkout was just as straightforward as check-in.
