Holiday houses in Vilamoura

Sam is a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for more. The apartment was spotless and in a beautiful, quiet location only a short walk to the local beach or into the old town where there are some great restaurants. This is the third time we have visited Ferragudo and will definitely be back again next year 😍

A really lovely condo. Clean, modern, comfy beds and decorated well! Shared pool was usually quiet and quite often had to ourselves. Host very responsive. Everything we could’ve possibly needed was supplied.

The accommodation was as described and was very easy to live in. A short walk to the pool took you to the “Swallows” sports bar which was an excellent and extremely well run facility that provided home cooked food as well as a place to sit down over a drink and chat with fellow guests. You can walk to several beaches very easily or just sit on the balcony and soak up the sun. All the equipment worked very well but the mattresses are a bit tired, some electrical sockets need maintenance and we were missing some of the listed items that should have been available though we understand that things do go missing during the season. We asked for more towels but none were available but we do not consider this to be a major matter. All in all we had a very nice time at Hélder’s place.

A fabulous stay, Helena was so helpful, fast to respond & helped with our transfer. First visit to Portugal! Villa easy to access, we didn't have a car but short walk with cases. Super clean, great instructions. Every thing you need & very comfortable. Bonus aircon & lovely veranda. Staff at bar on resort super friendly & food drink tasty & welll priced. Lovely pool. Villa near pool/opposite mini park for small children if you have! Few minutes walk to some restuarants & easy to get to others by uber. This worked well, was cheap & cheaper than car rental. Raphael beach a walk of 15 minutes, lovely but a walk up hill on way back, if you have stuff to take or fitness/body issues uber/car advised! Also other beaches great! Boat trips a must & safari jeep into mountains to understand area better! Marina lovely & old town but more commercial, still nice but if you want quaint stay out of centre. Supermarkets fab, great choices & amazing quality. Would return in a heartbeat! ! Thx you!

Really gorgeous place! Amazing location, quiet enough to be very peaceful, but also walkable distance to loads of restaurants and bars! Perfect for what we wanted! Thank you :)

Lovely villa exactly as per the photos. Our host was great very responsive and helpful. We have stayed at this location multiple times so know it well. Very convenient for Salgados golf course and the beach but you do need a car for restaurants and entertainment. All in a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at the Sunset Villa! We loved the outside especially with kids! The entire property is fenced so they can’t escape 😉 we had the pool and the jacuzzi heated- which was worth every penny! Highly recommend! We totally agree with all the other comments:) In the cold months- definitely bring slippers since there’s tiled floor. Just a side note: there is a construction site right on the other side of the street- so it was not that quiet during the day- this was the end of November ‘24.
