Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We were there with the family and had a very good time. The pool was bigger than expected and the garden is great. Everything was the same as the photos. The garden has grown in nicely, so you don't notice anything from the neighbors. The amenities were very good. Beautiful beaches can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The nearby village of Asnæs is quite small, but there are 2 supermarkets and a good bakery, so you get everything essential.

We were 2 adults and 2 small children on an extended weekend. Beautiful little cottage with the most beautiful garden! Plenty of room for ball games, badminton and hide and seek. Beautiful pool and trampoline was the icing on the cake. Nice amenities, neat and clean. Jeanne was quick to respond to questions. We'd love to come back another time!

A lovely and cozy house. Everything is well thought out and very convenient (though a coat rack at the entrance would have been helpful, but we managed). It’s great that pets are allowed—we stayed here for New Year’s so our dogs could have a break from fireworks. There really weren’t many fireworks around. Thanks!

We stayed at Rikke and Andreas' place for 1 week. The house is situated in a quiet residential area in Sorø. The location is very central and therefore many things were super accessible. It was superbly equipped. In the kitchen, for example, nothing was missing. There were also a lot of toys available (our son was thrilled) The highlight was of course the heated pool & jacuzzi. Together with a grill and some outdoor toys, the perfect mix for everyone. The beds were also very comfortable. In the master bedroom even with box spring bed and children's room with high bed. Communication was also great. Rikke & Andreas responded very promptly. All in all, we highly recommend the accommodation! We will be happy to come back :)

Marie's cottage was the perfect setting for some really relaxing days in Ellinge Lyng. Walking distance to the water, surrounded by bushes and trees, sunny terrace and cozy, comfortable and stylish decor. Marie communicated super fast and was really sweet and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for more:)

The small holiday home was very nicely located and the check-in was very easy. We enjoyed our stay, especially the outdoors.

The location is a gem and a real treat for your senses.

The house is in a vacation home settlement, which is located in a forest. The surroundings are really beautiful. The beach is about 15 minutes on foot through the forest and a nature reserve; but there are also wheels that take you to the beach very quickly. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable. There were only two of us there, but in summer 4 to 6 people can certainly sleep there. Particularly beautiful are the two terraces on both sides of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped; there is everything you need. Communication with the landlady Anne Louise was straightforward. She was very helpful and gave us many useful tips. We'll be more than happy to return!

The house and its location are simply beautiful. It is very spacious and the terrace with the swing can be enjoyed in any weather. It is equipped with everything you might need. You are in the middle of the forest and close to the beach, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening. There are many supermarkets and attractions nearby. You can also get to Roskilde and Copenhagen relatively quickly. When we had a problem, we were able to reach Ture immediately and he also immediately took care of a solution to the problem. We felt very welcome.

We had a lovely few days at Cecilie's cottage. Clean and tidy with functional kitchen, with everything you needed. We especially enjoyed the conservatory, where we enjoyed the first spring sun. The area is scenic and the house is wonderfully close to the water, so ideal for walks in nature.

My boyfriend and I booked the summer house between Christmas and New Year and it was so cozy! Worked really well with the heat. I recommend it!

Great place. Spent Easter at Christian's summerhouse with my family. There was everything for the kids (0, 7 and 10) both inside and outside. The kitchen was fully equipped, we could cook great food, coffee, and even baby food, as the kitchen contained all the appliances that we needed. The garden was lovely. Neighbors sweet. The beach was beautiful and the woods calm. Child-friendly entertainment and fine fast food and ice cream at BurgerHjørnet a getaway from the house. We'd love to come again!

We had the most wonderful summer holiday in this beautiful summerhouse - 3 adults and 2 children! The house is extremely child-friendly and also has everything a summerhouse needs: -) as a plus, the house is really beautiful and invitingly decorated. Really short distance to the beach and good restaurant/ice/shopping - opportunities close by! Very nice and available hosts who responded right away: -) we would love to vacation here again 😍

We had a great time at Kim’s house. The house is super modern, chic and well equipped. The garden and view are truly amazing. Kim was very nice and helpful with any questions. When looking for a private, calm getaway by the water, we can 100% recommend!

We had a fantastic experience with Nicola! Even before arrival, she was incredibly sweet and helpful, and she answered all our questions quickly and kindly. When we arrived, a clean and beautiful cottage was ready for us in the most beautiful and quiet surroundings - you could feel the calm immediately. Everything was exactly as described, if not even better. Nicola was very accommodating throughout and always quick to respond when we had questions. All in all a perfect stay, which we highly recommend. We would love to come again!

We had a wonderful stay at Anastasia's place! Everything was very clean and we didn't miss anything. There were two of us. For two people the house was perfect. However, we could imagine that it is a little small and tight for 4 people. The garden with barbecue and sun terrace is a dream and you can walk about 30 minutes to the Baltic Sea. Had a great vacation!
