Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Vicksburg

Definitely gonna have to come back when it’s not work related. Host were very proactive and always responsive. Definitely recommend if you are in the area or just looking for a family getaway and look to do some fishing.

This was a last minute booking as we were on our way to Florida via California. And I can say that I'm so happy we stopped and found this amazing gem of a place. The photos didn't do it justice! We felt right at home immediately. Great weather added to the ability to spent a lot of time in the courtyard soaking up the sun. The house was immaculate and has so much history. The beds were super comfy, the space was perfect to stretch out in. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful place and very clean. And the hosts, Daisy and Steven were the best hosts we have ever run across.

This house is gorgeous and top notch! You feel right at home in this place. It is extremely clean and is stocked with everything you need. I love the large island with the bar stools, the double oven and ice maker. The decks and outside areas are furnished with outside tables and seating. The swing on the top floor deck was so comfy! Chairs surrounded the fire pit. We had a family gathering with several people coming from different states. Everyone loved this place and commented to me how nice it was! It is very spacious for everyone to spread out and there are plenty of games to keep you entertained. The kids enjoyed making s’mores and the adults did too! Barry is great communicating and responds quickly. This was an amazing find!

Overall stay was excellent and the process was easy. Rooms were unique and each room has its own character and charm.

Location, location, location. This is a wonderful apartment in the historic district of Vicksburg, within walking distance of museums, restaurants, coffee shops and shops. It is only two miles from the National Military Park. There is an on-site manager who is quick to respond. I would highly recommend this place for a Vicksburg visit.

Clean, safe place if you are ever visiting Vicksburg! Great location, super close to downtown and only a few minutes away from Vicksburg battlefield. Daisy and Steven were so nice and gave us great restaurant recommendations since it was our first time! The property is old but beautiful and well kept up with. Perfect stay if you love historic homes. The hosts always responded within a few minutes and were wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this historic home. The history in the hills of Vicksburg is rampant and this is smack dab in the middle of it all. Tim even met us at the door late at night to help us unload and carry our things up the stairs! Great folks and plenty to do downtown!

This was our first trip with our pups and we needed a quiet place away from foot traffic. This place is near downtown and the grounds were lovely. When renovating, some structural components were left intact, contributing to the charm of the place. The brick sidewalks are aesthetically pleasing but might be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The cottages are located by the train tracks and we liked that after the initial train went through - a bit surprising how the sound carried. It’s a neighborhood with a mixture of renovated historical mansions and houses needing renovation, all which we found interesting.

The kitchen was well stocked, and we had everything we needed to cook family meals and grill out. Barry was the perfect host. He was very quick to answer questions and even had s’mores and logs ready to light in the fire pit. The covered back porches were equipped with a swing, grill, hot tub, and a gas fire pit. The beds were super comfortable, and we had everything we could possibly need.
