Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mississippi

I needed a solo night to rest and recharge after a very tough week. Beautiful and quiet location. I’ll be returning again in the future. One of my favorite locations.

You will not find more delightful, accommodating hosts nor a more idyllic setting than this wonderful AIRBNB in Philadelphia. Whether traveling alone, as a couple or family or needing a venue for a special occasion, you will appreciate and enjoy every moment of your stay. The creativity, vision and attention to detail which has gone into this beautiful destination is evident at every turn. Whether you are indoors or outdoors, you are embraced in comfort and beauty!

This place is perfect for families! We spent hours playing in the game room with our kids. The beds were a bit firm and my older child said the bunk bed felt a little loose. I would still stay here again. The home is beautifully decorated with space for everyone. We appreciated every amenity from extra blankets, tons of towels and toiletries and so many activities! The neighborhood is really nice! It’s a true home away from home and I wish we would’ve had more time to enjoy the space!

We came here on the way down, and on the way back from the beach. It was a wonderful spot to rest. Our kids loved stretching their legs. We will definitely be back. This will be our go to stop.

Everything was great and private. What loved the most was that it was very very peaceful. Me and the kids enjoyed our short stay at the private beach house. The host was awesome.

We had out-of-town family members coming from Houston, Dallas and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I was looking for a larger home, preferably with a swimming pool. Renae’s Camellia Hill property fit the bill perfectly. There were two large living areas so that we could spread out , be comfortable and visit. The kitchen had two huge islands where I could just put out food and people could serve themselves whenever. But the super plus was the huge and beautiful swimming pool. We loved sitting on the deck under the fans and enjoying the pool. Thank you, Renae, for a wonderful stay and perfect place for our family get together.

Liz was an extremely helpful and informative host! Her place had a delightful charm, was extremely walkable to downtown Laurel, very quiet, and was comfortable for us and our dogs. Lastly. Liz was extremely accommodating to our arrival time and communicated promptly. This helped us to enjoy as much as we could in our quick stay. We would gladly stay here again should we find ourselves in Laurel.

I was very happy with the stay! Perfect location near the beach and restaurants. Very clean, the owners are responsive and helpful. I love the delicious muffins that were left for me upon my arrival and the rooms were cozy and contained everything that I needed. Great coffee, nice towels, beach towels and bikes were available if I needed them. This will be my go to location when visiting family in Ocean Springs. Thank you!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-decorated. Terri and Hal went above and beyond for our stay! There's plenty of cookware and spices, along with many samples of shampoos, lotions, and soap. The bed has a topper that is sooo comfy.

Had another wonderful week in the Studio. Such a great location and love being enveloped in trees! Barbara is always pleasant and lively, she’s an inspiration.

I would give 10 stars! My main draw was that dogs are welcome guests (not just “allowed”) and it did not disappoint. I brought my 2 mid-size, well behaved dogs. The yard was large and fully fenced. Her dogs are also well behaved so no issues there, and Kelly even helped me by letting my dogs out when I had to leave them behind for several hours. She was fantastic and made everything stress free. Helpful with dogs and recommendations. Oh, The hot tub … ahhh! I enjoyed that soak each evening. The few house rules stated were straightforward and no issue at all. As a solo traveler I enjoyed that Kelly and her husband were on site. The apartment is beneath their raised house. It is completely separate entrance area and i didn’t feel watched, I felt like i had awesome neighbors i could call on for anything. Very quiet area witlots of space to roam. Pups and I can’t wait to plan another visit. Lots to do in area: 15-20 minutes to downtown Ocean Springs for great art, shopping, dining.

Cute place tucked away from any busy roads. Cathy was very responsive and did everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Only downside was that there was not a lot of places to put your clothing if you are planning on staying longer than a few nights.

This condo is in a nice complex. Very convenient to the University. It is very comfortable and has a private courtyard which allows you to gather by yourself. Our stay was short yet relaxing because the condo is well equipped and comfortable. If I come back to Starkville, I would try to rent this condo again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Loved loved loved our stay! The cabin was super clean and very private. We loved the property and access to the creek. Only bad thing was having to leave! We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to get away, relax, and enjoy nature.

Had a wonderful stay! The place is beautifully decorated, great amenities, attention to every single detail and all you need for a perfect home away from home. Incredibly clean, too. Our dog loved swimming in the pond and discovering the outdoors. Enjoyed having coffee in the mornings on the front porch looking at the beautiful landscape while listening to the wild life. Highly recommend it!

Daryl's cabin is an excellent place to stay. very private very peaceful. if you need to get away from everything this is the place to go. super quiet and private. in a beautiful setting. would stay here anytime available and when in area.

Stunning cabin on the water, even more beautiful in person than it was in the photos. The place is immaculate and well stocked with any thing you could need. Loved the property, we travel quite a bit and frequently stay in airbnbs. This one is very special, we will be back!

This is by far the cosiest AirBNB I have ever stayed. It felt so peaceful and felt right at home immediately after stepping in and was greeted with home-made cookies. Thank you!! The entire place is set up as though it was for their own stay. I was amazed with the quality of the washer and dryer, that is so much appreciated. And the cooling and heating system of the entire place is so quiet; the best thus far. I am so glad I chose to stay here, felt so rested!! Wish I had a choice of one more night to explore the surroundings!! :)

The place is private and beautiful. The hot tub is located on the back porch which overlooks the private lake. The lake is full of bass! The house is perfect for large families or for sharing with friends. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on each side of the house. There are miles of hiking, biking, and ATV trails just down the road at Trace STate Park. Thanks for making our trip to Mississippi unforgettable!

Small, quaint little cabin. it was quiet and serene with lots of birds and plenty of privacy. the sound of the water roaring by was pleasant. the inside was nice. there is a satellite dish for tv and a nice working A/C. the micro fridge is small but it helped our entire weekends things. we did bring a cooler for our drinks though. there wasnt many paper towels or other small complimentary kitchenware. we only had a couple issues. my main one was the mosquitoes! so many of them. I felt like I was being swarmed and stayed with a fire for the smoke to clear them out. thankfully we brought out own citronella candle and bug spray. plenty of other bugs but those were the biggest pests. also, we were out of power for 2.5 hours. everything was out of the hosts' hands though. she communicated quickly too.

This is such a peaceful area and is always clean and well maintained. It’s our favorite place to get away for a few days!
