The Bayou Log Cabin

Our spacious and unique log cabin on the coast is perfect for families, friends traveling together, a couples getaway, or a single person's landing pad. The home is a two story true log cabin with 2 king beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and all of the amenities of a great stay with the classic details of a log home. We have seating for the family around the table, excellent Wi-Fi, a great fire ring out front, and so much more. We're only a few blocks from the beach and right off the Davis bayou!

The Outskirts

Conveniently located 5 miles from The Red Barn event venue, 8 miles from Ripley's First Monday Flea Market and 15 miles from Blue Mountain Christian College. Only minutes away from Bennet Lake Hunting club and Dumas Lake. For dining: Enjoy a delicious meal at Simmer on Down Steak house 3.5 miles away. For Essentials: Dollar General and Clarks Country Store are only 3 miles away.

The Cottage on the Green

The Cottage is situated on the backside of an acre parcel behind the main house. A swimming pool separates the main house from the cottage. The property is very quiet, peaceful and private. Guest have a Separate entrance. We are a retired lieutenant from a California LE agency and his wife a retired teacher who give guests as much privacy as requested. We are a short distance from the Longleaf Trace and 1.5 miles from the Barn at Bridlewood wedding venue for those attending a wedding there.

The Loft, A Little Bluestem Farm-stay

The Loft at Little Bluestem is located on a family-owned working flower farm. Our farm is located just off the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, approximately 45 minutes north of Jackson. We love this place -- from the bluestem grass that grows in our pastures, to the egrets and herons that call our little ponds home -- and we are excited to be able to share these little wonders with you, so that you too can wake up to the sounds of sheep, walk among our flowers, and fish in our pond.

You are a 2-3 minute walk from the sandy beach and an awesome fishing pier. The Silver Slipper Casino, with its award winning buffet, is just 1 mile away. You are also 1 mile from Buccaneer State Park and can enjoy the wave pool. The heart of downtown Bay St. Louis is seven miles from our home.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. The 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin has an open floor plan in the den and kitchen, a queen size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, with a roll-away daybed available. A pack n play is available upon request. The bathroom is handicapped accessible. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full size refrigerator and microwave. There is no dishwasher. There is a flat screen tv in both the den and the master bedroom with Directv. We have WIFI available.
