Family-friendly holiday rentals in Vence

Roberto's house is highly recommended, it was like being at our house!! We enjoyed the breathtaking view, the pool and the sea! There is a public beach with sand 5 minutes' walk away, great for children!! Roberto was a great advisor!! Also Mrs. Marie at the check in was very nice!! we will definitely be back!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautifully designe, maintained and comfortable. TV in both lounge and bedroom. A small kitchen has all you need for preparing meals. Quadruple glazing cuts out traffic noise from the promenade traffic. The view of the sea is stunning with lots of interest from boats of all descriptions from fishing boats to super-yachts. The promenade is used by cyclists, runners, in-line skaters and is also great for walking. We visited the very interesting and beautiful Renoir house, a museum within walking distance from the apartment. Nice, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes are all within easy reach by rail, which we found to be the best transport. Buses stop outside the flat, especially the 41 which takes you into the centre of town where there are frequent street markets and a covered market selliing fresh fish meat and veg. Numerous restaurants, french, italian, asian are all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Peter and Elizabeth Bryant

Raymond and Anne share with guests their beautiful home, but they are exceptionally warm, interesting, and charming people to meet. It was an excellent combination for a magical and memorable vacation to Monaco. I would not go back unless we can stay with them again! Besides the amazing views, refreshing pool and clean jacuzzi, there were even fireworks several of the nights over the bay! Our hosts generously left wine, snacks, and coffee in the unit, as well as a fully stocked bathroom. More than anything, we really loved spending time with them. Highly recommend this AirBnB!

Sylvie welcomed us very nicely even though we were four hours late. We immediately felt comfortable in the very pretty garden, which was made and cared for with love. The apartment, which is very stylish and spiritually furnished, includes everything you need or could need. We were happy to use the spa, especially in the blazing sun as it is in the house and offers a very nice view. A private parking space in the quiet, private location completes the pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at this place! The setting is simply magnificent, ideal for relaxing and recharging. The jacuzzi is a real plus, and perfectly maintained. Breakfasts on the terrace in the sun are very pleasant, a real treat to start the day. And what a pleasure to have been able to observe the horses right next to the rental, it adds even more charm to the place. A soothing and exotic experience. I highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at Billie's. The setting allows for total disconnection, in the middle of nature, and offers rest and relaxation with both a breakfast served every morning and the comfort of the jacuzzi. Thank you again for this refreshing and caring experience.

Beautiful and very well-equiped apartment in a peaceful countryside with absolute privacy. Paul and Nicole were lovely hosts who gave us a lot of tips and were at our disposal at all times. We felt like at home and enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

This place is such a gem. It’s spacious and well-appointed with everything you could need for your stay. It would be very comfortable for a long term stay, too. The bed is comfortable, air conditioning perfect, and it’s a peaceful and private location. The apartment itself has so much personality and charm. Edith was incredibly responsive and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Can’t recommend enough!

Had a fantastic stay at Jon's place in Villefranche. The house is set up perfectly for a family gathering and stands up to the pictures. Well located in the hills above Villefranche-sur-mer, it served as a great base for our family to explore the area around Nice.

We have had a wonderful stay at Philippe’s home. The house was beautiful and particularly suitable for our family stay with a small baby. He was very accommodating answering any queries promptly. The information instructions provided were very detailed and helpful. The swimming pool was wonderful as the weather was hot and the air conditioning was very welcome. We were a group of six and the house was very spacious with plenty of room for three couples and a baby. We would like to thank Philippe for hosting us. We have wonderful memories of a lovely holiday at Cagnes sur Mer.

We had a lovely week staying here, the surroundings are beautiful and it was amazing to have access to the pool. Catherine was very friendly and accommodating, providing tips and even food when we arrived late. We will definitely come back!

Renaud’s place was the perfect retreat! When we weren’t hiking the nearby trails, we spent hours in Renaud’s garden just soaking up the view. We loved watching the sun go by and seeing the fireflies and bats come out at night. A perfect place to appreciate the Maritime Alps!

Excellent location, the house was as described, the hosts were accommodating and thoughtful. Excellent house for children, the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The property looked new and very well looked after. It was out today time on Air B&B and we ve been very impressed.

It was very beautiful with the garden! We enjoyed every single moment there!

Lovely stay at Delphines Airbnb. Perfect host, quick to respond to any questions about our stay, accessible enough area to the beach front, shops and restaurants as well as a short walk to the tram stop to take us into Old Nice.

What a beautiful house!! Perfect for a family holiday, lots of space for us all and an amazing pool and outside space. The view is incredible and the village charming. A great location if you want to explore the Cote D'Azur but also have some peace and quiet in an authentic French village. Isabelle was incredibly helpful before we arrived and through our stay. Would definitely return...

A lovely quiet spot between Biot and Valbonne. A car is necessary but it gives you incredible flexibility to explore the area with ease and convenience. The contrast to staying in Antibes, Valbonne or Biot is that parking is tricky and the units much smaller. This was a perfect balance.

We enjoyed our stay with Brigitte and Dominique. Detached villa; owners live upstairs. Privacy while owners are also available for questions. Great kitchen, fully equipped with appliances and tableware. Warm welcome with a bottle of rosé and two bottles of mineral water in the fridge. Also coffee and tea, bottle of olive oil and all kinds of small useful things. Plenty of space in the living room. Separate toilet, good bathroom with plenty of cupboard space and shower (with shower curtain). Nice bedroom with a good bed and plenty of closet space. All equipped with A/C. Often, there is a wonderful tranquility on and around the location. Outside, there are all kinds of seats and loungers. Via a path along exuberant lavender and 200-year-old olive tree to a wonderful private swimming pool that is available from 10.00 - 18.00 and is cleaned daily by Dominique. Beautiful panoramic view and view of Mediterranean garden with oleanders, cypresses, etc. In short: live like God in France in this beautiful place!

Great stay. The pool was absolutely lovely. All the outside areas were beautiful, with lots of choice where to sit. The bathroom was also very nice. The bed was huge, but a little on the hard side for me. The main room was big and well decorated in a French style. The kitchenette was a nice place to sit and had lots of equipment for making basic meals. No oven and only one hob was more of a challenge than I had anticipated - probably fine in the summer when eating mostly cold food. The owners were very friendly, but not overwhelming - we had our privacy respected. We felt safe and secure in the accommodation and grounds. Only 2 small niggles. The bedding was inadequate - I was cold most nights. I did ask for a duvet, but we only got a thin blanket. Probably fine in the summer, but September can be quite chilly and I resorted to wearing some clothing in the end. This second point is no fault of the owner, but we were woken up in the early hours of every morning by local barking dogs.
