Welcome to a unique accommodation in a peaceful environment with lake views just outside Växjö. Stay on the raft a stone's throw out in the shallow Tävelsåssjön. Nice both summer and winter. Enjoy the sunset over the lake. Open the doors to the water as soon as you wake up. Why not both an evening and morning swim after the sauna? Options such as pizza, breakfast, sauna, pool, Jacuzzi are available on request. If you wish to order Neapolitan pizza directly from the pizza oven, we ask you to state this a few days before arrival.

19th-century house with three fireplaces

Stay quietly on a farm from the 1800s. Rent the main house with six rooms and a kitchen, including three bedrooms. Have lunch under the apple trees in the garden. Relax in the evening sun on the porch or balcony. The house is under renovation and has in a couple of places removed surface layers. Swim in beautiful Lake Övden 5 km away, visit Åsnens National Park at Trollberget 6.5 km away and shop locally produced at Handelsboden in Rubbatorp 3 km away and general supplies at Tommys livs in Lönashult, 3.5 km from the house.

With the county's best hiking trails around the corner and views of Lake Kojtasjön, this spacious house is located outside Vislanda. The house has three proper bedrooms and there is the possibility to expand the sleeping places with two additional sofa beds. Charming details that testify to the deep roots in the Småland countryside are plentiful and here you will experience a vacation that gives plenty of time for recovery, with long walks and dinners overlooking the lake. And maybe a ride in the canoe by the beach?

Charming cottage just outside Torne

Charming cottage, with amenities such as shower, kitchen and Wi-Fi The cottage is located 500 meters from Lake Åsnen. Åsnen National Park is only a few minutes' drive away - here there is a largely untouched lake and forest landscape with a wide range of attractions, such as nice trails along water lilies & noble forests - or why not settle down at one of the tree decks with the coffee basket & enjoy the views of Åsnen's islands and waters. Bed linens and towels for your stay with us are included in the price.

Apartment by lake

Stay in this cozy apartment with proximity to beautiful nature. The area is a quiet, newly built residential neighborhood. Bus stop is 2 minutes by foot from the apartment. Bus to the city center takes 17 minutes, the arena city 12 minutes. Departures every 20 minutes. Free parking at the apartment. There is a 120 cm bed and a 90 cm bunk bed. The sofa in the living room is 90 cm wide and 175 cm long. There is no window in the bedroom. The stairs are steep, but walkable. The apartment is in a garage building.

Kalvsvik Björkelund

Welcome to our newly built apartment in scenic Kalvsvik, 25 km south of Växjö. The accommodation is located in the northern part of Åsnens and in the area there is the possibility of a lot of outdoor life in beautiful nature. Close to swimming area, country shop, paddle tennis court, gas station and car repair shop. The apartment consists of one bedroom with two single beds. Bathroom with shower. Open plan with kitchen and living room with sofa bed and view of the patio and the fields outside.

Close to Åsnen, its national park and free nature

With the lake Åsnen at sight, open fields around it and the forest behind, this place can offer all the best of Swedish countryside. The cottage is across the courtyard to the main house. Your entrance is facing mine, but outside the backdoor you´ll find all the space you need to be on your own. Nice beaches on convenient distance and within a radius of 10 km you will find cosy cafés, farmers shops and much more. And not to forget: Åsnen National Park, of which I´m certified as a collaborator.

Quiet by the lake and live in a unique pillar house

Enjoy the sounds of nature while staying at this unique place. Animal and bird life is abundant and water lilies grow on the lake. There's nothing else around the lake, so you're all alone here. The house is located on a plateau 2 meters up in the air so it offers nice views of the lake. There is a wooden deck around the house that offers seating in different sunny locations as well as an outdoor kitchen where there is a storm kitchen for easier cooking. Next to it is a small outdoor toilet.

Gunnarsö Guest House

Fresh, newly renovated, fully equipped smaller guest house with small kitchen area in the countryside, for up to 4 people. 2 km from Lake Åsnen. The Åsnen area is known for its beautiful nature with, among other things, nature reserves and fishing. The cottage is only a 10-15 minute drive from Husebybruk with attractions and a nice environment. Within 500 meters, you have Kalvsvik's country store. Padel court and swimming area are located in the village. 20 minutes to central Växjö.

Are you ready to leave the noise behind and relax in a beautiful log cabin in the southern Småland woods? Here you stay without any neighbors except the mooses, deers and birds of the forest. Close biking distance to several lakes and great adventures. Located 5 min driving to a convenience store, and approximately 2 hrs driving from Malmö. We recommend staying here as a couple or family, keep in mind the cabin is 25m2 indoors. Welcome to the simple life of the cabin life.

Our cozy cottage is beautifully situated on our small farm in the middle of the Småland forest. The forest is located right around the corner for wonderful forest excursions. Next to the house there is a pond where you can swim. Cozy beach with sun loungers that you can enjoy in nice weather. The farm is only 10 minutes from the beautiful lake Åsnen and only 25 minutes to Växjö or Älmhult.
