We rent out our nice little cottage/lake house in Västervik during the summer. The cottage is 2 km from the city center and 50 meters to the jetty where you can swim. The cottage consists of a large living room with a corner sofa bed, TV and dining area, small kitchen, bedroom with a 120 cm bed and a covered terrace in a southwest location with a fantastic view of Gamlebyviken and towards Västervik. Nattstugan – charming accommodation by the church in Västervik

Stay in one of Västervik’s oldest wooden houses, right next to St Gertrude’s Church, which dates back to at least the early 1700s. Nattstugan is an accommodation that exudes historic charm. The old loft apartment was carefully renovated by an architectural firm in the 1960s. The location is both central and peaceful, just a stone’s throw from Storgatan and Stadsparken. The apartment can accommodate a family of up to four. In addition to a small kitchenette and bathroom, guests have access to a cosy stone-paved inner courtyard surrounded by the church grounds.

Newly built guesthouse ‘Ludwig’ in Västervik/Gränsö

Just a few minutes from central Västervik is the Gränsö Nature Reserve, a peninsula close to the sea where nature is allowed to take centre stage. In a quiet area, we rent out our guesthouse with a view of the water and nature as your closest neighbour. Here, you wake up to the sparkling sea and birdsong and fall asleep to the silence of the forest. There are several swimming spots, and the nearest one is about 150 metres from the guest house. You can start hiking trails right around the corner from the house.

It is nice to dock by boat at our jetty if you want to bring a boat. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we would like them to sleep in their own bed.

Detta speciella hus med glasveranda ligger nära allt, vilket gör det lätt att planera din vistelse. Huset ligger mellan centrum och Västerviks kända resort som är ett av de bästa i Sverige. Huset är ett charmigt sekelskifteshus i två våningar. På övervåningen finns badrum, två genomgångsrum och ett sovrum. Det finns en dubbelsäng i sovrummet och en dagbädd som kan bli 140 cm bred i ett av genomgångsrummen. På nedre planet finns ett sovrum med dubbelsäng, vardagsrum, toalett, kök och matrum.
