Family-friendly holiday rentals in Valence-en-Poitou

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true haven of peace! I had an exceptional stay with Celine. Her warm and caring welcome made the experience even more enjoyable. The accommodation is impeccable, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped for optimal comfort. The spa is a real plus: a moment of absolute relaxation in a soothing setting, ideal for relaxing. The general atmosphere of the place invites relaxation and well-being. A huge thank you to Celine for her hospitality and small touches. I would recommend it without second thought and would be happy to come back!

Despite a sun not at the appointment we had a great stay in this very cozy accommodation with in particular a room that it is difficult to get out because it is so pleasant. Valerie and Eric are attentive hosts, pleasant, discreet when needed, present when needed. A real pleasure to connect with them, a great welcome from them. The access to the hiking trails at the door of the cottage and the Vienna at the bottom of the garden are undeniable assets, not to mention the Spa of course. The gite is perfect. Peaceful setting, fully fenced garden ideal for pets. Very complete amenities and the cottage is impeccably clean. Check-in and checkout are facilitated by responsive hosts and a warm welcome. The jaccuzi is a real plus . If we come back to the area we will come back without hesitation.

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

We had a wonderful family weekend getaway. The house (old farmhouse totally renovated) is very spacious, very well equipped and tastefully decorated, absolutely nothing is missing. The exterior is huge, very well maintained with a completely unobstructed view. The kids were excited to run, to do al fresco activities. The pond at the bottom of the garden allowed us to discover the joys of fishing. Great experience for young and old! Not to mention the relaxation area with indoor pool, jacuzzi and Sauna. In short, enough to relax and rest. Thanks again to Claudette and Jean Claude for having us in their house. They are very friendly hosts, available and very accommodating. This stay was PERFECT! We'll be happy to go back.

We had a great time with friends and kids. The accommodation is well equipped, quiet, perfect for 2 families. The pool with sauna and jacuzzi is the perfect place for adults and children. The presence of the playground made the children happy. We thank Daphne and Blaise for their welcome. We warmly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet week.

A very friendly trailer! We spent the 4-day weekend of May 1st, the sun and temperature were there. Located 18 mins from Futuroscope, really ideal! Well-maintained trailer. Well equipped. The bed size 160 is really a big plus for sleep! Good value for the money. The place is very relaxing! There is a possibility to walk, outside the area where the trailer is located. Doing and redoing on a weekend of 3 or 4 days is a great plan! Very happy and very satisfied with this experience!

A beautiful little country house nestled in the heart of a village that takes you back in time. Jeannette and her husband show great hospitality.

The place was very nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. I especially liked the perfectly furnished kitchen, it had everything you need. The hosts were very friendly and it was possible for me to take my bike in. Very helpful and nice! Perfect place 👍🏻

Collete was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 4,very peaceful and well appointed with everything you could possibly need. We loved the pool and outdoor dinning area which has a bar and BBQ. What made the house stand out were all the small and thoughtful touches: shower gels and soaps, charcoal for the BBQ, homemade (delicious) madeleines and free eggs and a friendly cat! Thank you, we will be back next year.

Jean James is a responsive host and very available. He was not physically present but was throughout our stay listening and allowed us to have a great stay with friends in a bucolic and warm setting!

We had a great time for our family gathering. the accommodation is welcoming summer and winter, it was very nice so we were in the square courtyard all the way. The house is full of surprises in terms of decoration and charm. A huge fireplace in one of the lounges is also perfect for winter evenings! and the children's game room is great, especially the great disguises and the board game wardrobe! everything was perfect, we'll be back. We had a brilliant two weeks at Philippe’s gite. It is located in a charming village with good amenities- bakery/shop, restaurant/bar, public tennis courts and lovely cycle rides and walks right on the doorstep. The weather was hot and sunny and we enjoyed the refreshing pool and outdoor dining areas. Everything has been carefully arranged for the comfort of guests and philippe was welcoming and discreet. Would highly recommend this for a family or group of families to visit. A bit of a drive to sightseeing places but we found lots of nice parks and the little lake nearby was lovely!
