A quiet cabin in the hinterland of Nice

Charming trapper-style cabin in the middle of the trees, in a cool and quiet location between my house and a caravan on the GR 51. You can do your old-fashioned toilet with toilet and water jar or you have behind the cabin a cold outdoor shower with water reserve. There's no kitchen in the cabin. Breakfast can be delivered in a basket to the front of your cabin 6€/pers and evening basket 15€ per person or tables d 'hôtes 24€ by reservation payment only in cash.

Free parking at the bottom of the building with disabled space.

The nest

Formerly called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's cabin was used as a kitchen and dining room. It was where milk was turned into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbours , and where social life was forged. Tools,seeds, crops , were also stored in the tree. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a feeling of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

St Martin de Vésubie and Le Boreon are close, less than 15 km away. south facing, very bright and well-equipped, it is rated 3***, it is good to live there. Fruit trees, vegetable garden and flowers surround it. You are welcome.

Chalet de la Mauna (Optional spa)

If the chalet is fully booked on your desired dates, you will also find the 'Chalet des Loups'. Please note, the barbecue is a free-standing barbecue. So, if there is a prefectural order, this is prohibited. Regarding the jacuzzi, please indicate in the description that it is a Roman bath located in the wellness area. It's an option, as well as the sauna and everything that goes with it.

Equipped ground floor studio with a quick access from a free car parking. You will find a comfortable sofa-bed easy to unfold and fold up. Also a overlaid bed 90 x 190 cm. The kitchen is equipped by a washing machine, induction cooker and a microwave. The bathroom is all brend new with a large shower and towel warmer. The toilets are separated.

Charming and comfortable house surrounded by nature. For those who love tranquillity and the countryside. Swing, hammock, bowls, table tennis table, books and board games. It is accessible on foot via a 50 m concrete path with about 30 steps at the end. Large plot with olive and chestnut trees, just 30 minutes from Nice and its beaches!

The apartment ,Ground floor of the chalet,is located in a residential area in absolute calm with panoramic views of the Mercantour three kilometers from the center of the beautiful village of Saint Martin Vésubie.La Colmiane and Le Boréon, are 10 minutes by car. I live on site and therefore am very available to guests.
