We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Shamba Barn. Shelley was a fantastic host and very helpful, spoiling us with biscuits and cake. The Barn has everything you could wish for to make it feel like your home away from home. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully laid out with many thoughtful touches to make it feel special. We were fortunate to have good weather during our stay, so we could relax on the sun loungers during the day and eat dinner at the spacious outside table one evening. There are plenty of places to visit during the day and lots of local pubs and restaurants for dinner in the evening or you can cook in the well equipped kitchen at Shamba Barn. We had a lovely meal at the Black Horse Inn in Cranham and also at La Campagna in Stonehouse. Portway Farm Shop is well worth a visit for local produce and a coffee shop. We had a wonderful time at Shamba Barn and look forward to returning again.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the idyllic Old Dairy. The cottage, nestled within a beautifully restored listed building, made a striking first impression as we arrived. Set amidst stunning grounds adjacent to the exquisite Rococo Gardens, the location was truly breath-taking. A thoughtful welcome basket from Victoria brimming with homemade jam, marmalade, sloe gin, and sourdough bread awaited us, adding a personal touch to our arrival. The cottage itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained throughout. We absolutely adored both the cottage and its picturesque setting in Painswick, a charming Cotswold village with a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect escape to unwind, disconnect from technology, and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the countryside.

A very special Airbnb that quickly becomes your home away from home! Rebecca made our three-night stay perfect from start to finish. She is a natural host and extremely communicative. The Airbnb itself is situated next to gorgeous paddocks with an abundance of horses – a must-stay for any horse lover! The homely touches were so thoughtful and didn’t go unnoticed: fresh flowers, a big bath filled with shampoo and conditioner, a delicious bottle of bubbly, chocolate, orange juice, milk, muesli, and more! There was even a lovely Christmas card written from Rebecca. The king bed was incredibly comfy and cosy – you’ll have the best sleep in a dark and quiet room. If in doubt, definitely book – you won’t regret it. We already can’t wait to come back! xxxx
