Very nice home with everything expected and more. James was very helpful and made our stay a memorable one. Would recommend staying here for the short walk to the centre of Bourton and a good base to visit the beautiful villages nearby.

Awesome house - rooms are tight be aware that this is a very old house -so bedrooms are tiny. But what character! And the fire place is so cosy!!

Pet friendly holiday cottage - Enoch's Cottage

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Enoch’s Cottage was our home away from home for four days in May. My husband & I are both allergic to cats, so I was worried since it’s advertised as pet friendly, but the place was super clean - no sign of pets whatsoever. Everything was just as pictured. The kitchen was well-equipped, the shower was great and I appreciated the provided bathrobes. The living room was cozy & comfortable, with access to lots of movies for an evening in. I loved the dreamy garden! We lucked out & stayed when the wisteria was in bloom. It was lovely eating breakfast on the patio each morning. Bring your own lotion, shampoo, conditioner & shower soap, but hand soap for the sinks, dish soap, dishwasher pods, washing machine soap and plenty of toilet paper is provided. It’s an easy walk into town & Stow-on-the-Wold is a great central location for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds. We highly recommend Enoch’s Cottage for a relaxing countryside holiday & would gladly return. Thank you, Sarah!

The Best Location in Bourton-Parking-BBQ-Garden

LaurenRating, 5 stars4 days ago
You couldn’t pick a better location in Bourton-on-the-Water if you tried! It is literal steps away from exactly where you want to be but at the same time is a lovely quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of well thought out details and amenities and the private garden is really nice on a summer evening. We were all very happy - 4 adults, 2 small children and a dog. The only cautions I have is we tried to park in the reserved spot during a cricket match and the spot was taken. We ended up paying for a couple hours parking elsewhere and then just moved the car once the match was over so not a big deal. Also the radiator covers are freestanding and not attached to the wall so my one year old nearly pulled it over on top of her so just to be mindful if you have little ones. But overall those things didn’t put us off at all and we would absolutely stay again! Chris was also very responsive and helpful, and let us check out late! Thank you!

Gill is an incredible host! Super friendly, very attentive and quick to respond to messages, couldn't ask for a better host. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean and has everything you need. The location is perfect, short walk to the town centre in a beautiful part of England. The perfect place for a couple to stay cant recommend Gill and her lovely cottage enough! Thank you so much, hope to come back again!
