Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Upper Palatinate

Fantastically beautifully decorated old house in a quiet place. Beautiful surroundings for hiking, or just relaxing. The accommodation itself offers great opportunities to occupy yourself (darts or badminton in the garden, music room, beautiful balcony, terrace, barbecue, etc.). There were four of us and there was more than enough room. Six of you could easily stay here. The bathroom is modern and large. Jörg welcomed us warmly and showed us everything we needed to know, but it is also possible to check in flexibly via a key safe. We would absolutely recommend the place!

Better as in the pictures. Very welcoming and easy to find. Quiet and peaceful. We found it perfect for kids & dogs. There are a lot of toys for both inside and outside, the forrest is right behind, there are no cars to disturb you. Very well equipped also inside, a highchair, baby beds, child cutlery and much more. Miriam was available for support or questions! Thank you

The stay was great. We had previously received all the important information about the accommodation, so the check-in worked easily. The house offers everything you need. It was very clean. The area is quiet and you can also use the great garden. We highly recommend the place!

Beautiful Airbnb in the middle of nature – ideal for those seeking peace, relaxation and inspiration. The accommodation offers plenty of space, is very clean and well equipped. The forest begins right outside the door, in the morning you can hear birdsong, in the evening a hare might stop by. Perfect for creative minds: whether painting, writing or concentrated work - here you will find the necessary peace and at the same time soothing variety in nature. The area has a lot to offer and is easily accessible by car, which is why we recommend arriving by vehicle. Lars is a very friendly and attentive host who really cares about the well-being of his guests. You feel immediately welcome and in good hands. A clear recommendation for all those who are looking for a break with atmosphere.

Beautiful house in a very quiet area. You have to go a little further to do your shopping, but you get peace and quiet in return. The horses that occasionally grazed in the garden (they ask you first if you don't mind) made it complete. Highly recommended for hikers, cyclists and those seeking peace and quiet.

The location is great, peaceful and private as we wanted. The house has everything you need and is beautiful furnitured. Nice and communicative hosts. Everytime again :) Best Regards

We were on site with two small children. So the large garden with the many play equipment (swings, slide, trampoline, sandbox, ...) as well as the chickens and adjacent paddock with horses were very well received. There are also some toys available in the accommodation. At any rate, there was no boredom at any time. Just perfect for a break with your family. And otherwise, the furnishings of the accommodation leave nothing to be desired. A lot of what we had brought with us was actually already available on site (salt, pepper, tabs, ...). Communication with Birgit in advance and during the stay was also very pleasant - helpful and informative. For beer lovers, the region is of course beyond any doubt. Paradise on earth. Tip: the Pottensteiner from the Mager Brewery. In short: we will be happy to come back!

I was able to accommodate three of our employees with Martina and Hermann, who have consistently spoken positively about their accommodation. The check-in and the constant communication with Martina were easy and courteous. When my employees checked out, a small mishap occurred, which was able to be clarified very fairly by both sides. Thank you so much for the hospitality and the great stay!

Our stay at this beautiful place was just perfect! The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, extremely well maintained, clean and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We also got to know Katrin's mother briefly. She gave us a few tips for the area. ☺️ The highlight for us was the private whirlpool including the possibility to watch series. Thanks to the manual, we were able to manage everything easily on our own. Katrin would also have been very easy to reach for any questions. I am looking forward to my next stay there! Our stay in the apartment – an all-round successful experience We had the pleasure of spending four wonderful days in this apartment. Even before the trip, communication with the hosts was excellent – fast, friendly and uncomplicated. Even during the stay, we were able to contact them at any time with questions or concerns. The apartment itself is extremely spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. The well-equipped kitchen in particular impressed us, as it offers everything you need for a smooth self-catering experience. The other rooms are also generously sized and comfortably furnished, so you can immediately feel at home. A big plus was the available parking space directly in front of the apartment, which offered us a lot of comfort during our numerous excursions in the area. The location is ideal: Nuremberg or the picturesque landscape along the Pegnitz can be reached quickly.

Great location, charming building with very well thought-through details. We spent an idyllic weekend at Regina's.

Really felt at home at Mel’s place! Her and her husband live across the street, so Mel met us and showed us around the house when we arrived. We really appreciated the bright windows and deck, as well as the lovely dishes, pots & pans, appliances, and comfy bed. Everything was great, the nice flowers on the table added a special touch! We had the upper space, and there was a tenant in the lower space, but we never really noticed him. If we return to Mitterfels, would love to stay with Mel again!

Cool place to climb nearby crags. Nice view and the balcony. Everything you need to prepare meals is in the kitchen. Petra is very nice and helpful host. The accommodation is a separate space on the 2nd floor of the house. The bathroom is outside of the room but it's private. Overall, we had a good time!

It was all very nice – if you have any questions, you get an answer quickly, and you were also very helpful. Absolutely recommended!

We had an incredibly liberating and heartwarming weekend with Karsten and Nora in the woods, incredible nature and a free life that you can immerse in for a few days. Simply thank you🤍🌲💫

Very quiet and idyllic forest hut to just really unwind. In the evening, the birds sing you to sleep, and in the morning, they wake you up. And if not, the sun wakes you up, shining directly in your face - and thanks to the trees, not at sunrise, but quite comfortably around 8 a.m. (in June) :-) In the morning, greet the sun with a coffee in front of the hut and dangle in the hammock during the day or hike in the forest, or if you want, go to the nearby spa. In the evening, prepare your food at the campfire or camping stove. At night (with mosquito repellent!) you can watch the stars wonderfully. Simply a really great place for all those who are looking to slow down and enjoy nature and can and want to leave their mobile phone off for a few days or use it very little... or have a good power bank. ;-) Karin was very friendly and uncomplicated and took care of everything. I'd love to come back!

Pleasant stay in a quiet location. Friendly and helpful host. Kitchen is well equipped, but a little small. There were six of us, one of us had to sleep in a walk-through room to the bathroom. The outdoor area is very nice and invites you to relax and unwind.

We felt completely comfortable with Nabila and her family. We were very warmly accommodated. Since they were not at home on the first day, Nabila's mother took over the check-in. The cabin offers retreat and yet very nice interactions took place. Interesting conversations, our children also got along well. We also love the nature in the pommelsbrunn, which is very inviting for hiking. I'd love to come back anytime.

Beautiful log cabin, furnished with attention to detail and perfectly equipped. We booked it for a working weekend. We had the necessary peace, a top-functioning WiFi and everything else you could wish for. We didn't miss anything. Unfortunately, we did not manage to use the sauna. It can be reached from the bathroom in a separate cabin directly behind the log cabin. In addition, a separate retreat and a great outdoor shower. Another reason to come back soon. :)

This year it should be contemplative Christmas away from any stress and triviality. Andreas' cabin has fascinated us directly. This is located in the middle of a small log hut settlement on the edge of the forest. From the cabin you can use your car directly into nature without having to use your car. Despite the other neighboring cabins, you have undisturbed privacy and a fantastic view of the forests. Since we were there over Christmas, Andreas decorated the cabin for Christmas. A fir tree, Advent wreath and Christmas decorations as well as Christmas lights have created a great Christmas atmosphere. The cabin has absolute rustic mountain hut flair. A special highlight was the great outdoor sauna, which can be reached via the back exit. The snow, or the great wooden shower, ensures cooling. Andreas really left us with nothing. He is a really very nice host. We can absolutely recommend the house and will be back.

Perfect for us! We wanted a short break: tranquility and relaxation with fantastic views! And that's exactly what we got. The mountain hut is super cozy, the surroundings idyllic and our hosts friendly, courteous and likeable. The hiking trails nearby were also a highlight. And our dog was also completely happy ☺️ We can only warmly recommend it and will definitely come back!

Very kind hosts who welcomed us personally. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky with the weather, but it was all the more cozy in the beautiful hut and we could enjoy the great sauna. Perfect location for excursions, especially with the whole family!
